Although the mechanics remain unknown, it is possible to instantly travel from one of these bird-like structures to another. As such, using the area around those statues as a base of operations is highly recommended.

You wake up on a beach, but your memory is still fuzzy. Who are you, and what are you doing here? ...Where is this place? As you start looking for clues, you spot a tiny figure far off in the distance.

Harvest Wood & Build a Workbench These islands are rich in natural resources such as Wood and Stone. To conserve our supplies and continue the survey for as long as possible, we'll need to take advantage of them. First, Wood. There are two ways to gather it: either collect the wood already on the ground, or strike at a nearby tree. Once you've got those materials in hand, find a safe space and set up a Workbench.

Clear: Craft Stone Axe ×1 / Craft Stone Pickaxe ×1

Craft an Axe and a Pickaxe: Wood and Stone are basic resources which are used for many things. You can pick them up off the ground, or strike at trees or rocks with your bare hands to harvest them, but... having the proper tools is essential to do so efficiently. Start by checking the recipes at a Workbench, then gather the Wood and Stone required to make your very own Stone Pickaxe and Stone Axe.

Making Pal Spheres and Capturing Pals As you may have noticed, this island is home to a variety of strange creatures. Known as Pals, these intelligent creatures come in a wide range of shapes and sizes. Of course, our activities here would benefit greatly if we were able to harness their abilities. Pals can be captured by a Pal Sphere. While the exact principles are still unclear, it's possible to tame any Pal by catching it with a Sphere. First, check the Technology screen for details, then obtain the Paldium Fragment required for crafting. This strange ore glows with a pale blue light, and is often found near sources of water. Once you finish building your Spheres on a Workbench, you're set to go. Make sure to wear down the Pal you want to capture. Lowering their Health will increase the chances of a successful capture. That being said, most Pals will resist capture, and will fight back. Start by focusing on smaller, weaker Pals until you get better equipment.

Pal Labor Interacting with a Palbox allows you to manage and utilize your Pals efficiently. First, check the Technology screen for details, then build a Palbox in a safe location. The Palbox can be used to store Pals you have on hand, or summon them to the box's location. Pals summoned from the Palbox can only move within a certain radius of the Palbox. As such, the location of your Palbox inevitably becomes the centerpoint of your base. Pals summoned from a Palbox will find work to occupy themselves with, based on their own unique traits. You can increase the efficiency of your operations by capturing and utilizing more Pals.

Obtaining Food Long-term operations also require a reliable source of food. Luckily, the Red Berries found in various locations can be consumed raw. Some wild Pals are edible, too. As heart-wrenching as it may be to butcher such adorable creatures... We must do whatever is necessary to survive.

Clear: Capture Lamball ×3

Utilizing Lamballs Lamballs lack any real sort of offensive power, making them easy to catch. Moreover, they are dexterous enough to handle a wide variety of tasks, making them an excellent choice for the early stages of any base expansion. They can also provide you with Wool or Lamball Mutton, which are both necessary for survival. Start by capturing your own small flock, then watch your base begin to flourish.

Crafting Equipment First, use the Wool obtained from a Lamball to craft Cloth at a Workbench, then use that to craft a set of Cloth Outfit. Next, put craft a Common Shield which utilizes the self-restorative properties of Paldium. Finally, craft a Normal Parachute, which will make it much easier to navigate the difficult terrain. Equipping these will make your activities here much easier.

You've finished all the tasks displayed on your device. According to the lone surviving surveyor, there's a settlement close to the Rayne Syndicate Tower. Once you find it, try talking to their chief to learn more.

Clear: Capture 1 Pals / Have Foxparks' Harness×1

The settlement's chief has informed you that if you want to learn more about the history of the Palpagos Islands, then you ought to pay a visit to Zoe, the only daughter of the boss of the Rayne Syndicate. Before you do that however, the chief thinks that capturing a Foxparks and creating some Pal Gear for it would go a long way to ensuring a successful visit to the tower.

Clear: Defeat the boss

Now that you’re adequately prepared, it’s time to meet Zoe at the Rayne Syndicate Tower.

You defeated the young woman you believe to be Zoe, and obtained a mysterious object resembling a Pal Sphere left lying nearby. Go back to the Small Settlement and ask the Chief about it.

According to the Chief, you should trying asking Zoe for more information. Make your way back to the Rayne Syndicate Tower.

Clear: Build Primitive Workbench ×1

Materials on their own are merely raw resources. By assembling a Workbench, you'll gain the ability to craft more complex items. Open the Build menu, select the Primitive Workbench, and choose where to place it. This marks your first step to building your base and surviving these wilds.

Clear: Unlock a technology

On this island, coexistence with Pals is the key to survival. And it all begins with a single device: the Pal Sphere. Open the Technology menu and study its blueprint. The time has come to reclaim the power of the ancients.

Clear: Collect Paldium Fragment ×1

These islands are home to an extraordinary mineral infused with supernatural energy: an ore known as Paldium. It's believed to be deeply connected to the massive tree towering in the distance, though the details remain a mystery. What we do know is that Paldium is a versatile material essential for crafting Pal Spheres. It's commonly found near water, so explore riversides and wetlands. If you spot something glowing blue, try striking it with a pickaxe. You can craft a pickaxe by combining Stone and Wood at a Primitive Workbench.

Pal Spheres are vessels used to capture Pals. Think of them as your key to companionship. Craft Pal Spheres by combining materials at a Primitive Workbench. All you need is Wood, Stone, and Paldium Fragments.

Throw a Pal Sphere at a Pal to try and capture it. To boost your chances for success, weaken it first. Once you catch your first Pal, the two of you can form a bond unlike any other.

Clear: Unlock a technology

To truly coexist with Pals, proper management is essential. Ancient records describe storage technology known as the Palbox. Open the Technology screen to learn how to build one. The Palbox also has the ability to heal injured Pals.

Clear: Establish 1 base camp(s)

Open the Build menu with and place a Palbox on a wide, open stretch of land. This will be your first base with your Pals—your launch point for future expeditions. If you maintain it well, it will become a vital stronghold when the time comes to face a tower, so choose your location carefully.

Clear: Assign 1 worker(s) to a base

Pals don't just fight, they can also work alongside you to help keep your base running. Access the Palbox, open the Management menu, and assign one of your Pals to the base.

Whether you're battling or exploring, you can't forget to eat. Fortunately, this island is home to plants that bear delicious fruit. Keep an eye out for Red Berries. If you find some, open your inventory and use them to satisfy your hunger.

The unforgiving wilds of the Palpagos Islands show mercy to no one. To protect yourself from the cold and harm, you'll need proper clothing. Unlock the Cloth Outfit technology and craft it at the Primitive Workbench. You'll need Cloth, which can be made from materials dropped by fluffy Pals that bear Wool. Time to go find something soft and wooly!

Only the strong survive on the Palpagos Islands. Lamball sit at the very bottom of the food chain, making them easy to catch. But don't underestimate them. Their dexterity makes them surprisingly useful for all kinds of tasks. Try capturing five Lamball to start. They'll be dependable first companions as you grow your base. Plus, they can provide essential materials like Wool and Lamball Mutton. In this harsh world, the key to survival is simple: use every resource you can.

In battle, you can't dodge forever. But fear not, you can harness the power of Paldium for defense. Unlock the Common Shield technology and craft it at the Primitive Workbench. Equip it ahead of time, and you'll be ready for whatever surprise attacks come your way.

This island is full of dangers, and cliffs are one of them. One wrong step could cost you more than just a few scrapes. Unlock the Normal Parachute technology and craft it at the Primitive Workbench. With this tool in hand, even the highest drop becomes an easy-breezy descent.

Clear: Capture 30 Pals

This device includes a feature called the Palpedia, which collects and stores information on Pals. It can hold data for up to 12 individuals per species. Capturing more Pals also rewards you with bonus EXP. Start by catching 30 different Pals. With a wide range of abilities on your team, you'll be ready to take on even more powerful foes.

Clear: Have Foxparks' Harness×1

Each Pal has a unique Partner Skill with different effects depending on its species. Some can be equipped and controlled directly, while others can be ridden as mounts. First, unlock the Pal Gear Workbench technology and set one up at your base. Then, unlock the Foxparks' Harness to craft it at your Pal Gear Workbench. Unlike other items, Pal Gear is stored in the Key Items space next to your Inventory.

Clear: Defeat a field boss

Powerful Pals have carved out their own territories across the Palpagos Islands. They can be dangerous, but defeating them yields experience, and capturing them earns you formidable new allies. How you deal with them is up to you. Rumors whisper of a Pal called the target Pal somewhere in these wilds. Track it down. Whether you capture or defeat it is up to you.

Clear: Have Small Feed Bag×1

Hunger is your greatest enemy. No matter the situation, never forget to eat. Both you and your Pals can use Small Feed Bags to help you eat while on the move. Small conveniences like these can make a big difference in both exploration and battle. Like Pal Gear, the Small Feed Bag is stored in the Key Items space next to your inventory.

These islands are home to a Pal known as the target Pal. Though fierce, challenging it might be the perfect chance to put your combat skills to the test. Find it, and try capturing or defeating it.

Clear: Build Egg Incubator ×1

Pals hatch from Pal Eggs. You can find these eggs all over the islands, so keep a sharp eye out while exploring. Raising Pals from Pal Eggs can lead you to rare and unique new allies. Who knows? One day, you might just hatch the perfect Pal. Start by unlocking the Egg Incubator technology and setting one up at your base. Once you place an egg inside, you'll need to wait a while for it to hatch.

Clear: Reach base camp Lv7

Expanding your base is essential if you want your Pals to work efficiently. Raise your base to level 7 to create a more comfortable space for them. With the right setup, you'll be strong enough to take on that tower when the time comes.

Clear: Defeat the boss

The time has come for you to challenge the tower of Zoe Rayne. Though she still doesn't fully understand the meaning of her role as its guardian, she has dutifully accepted it all the same. Claim victory in battle, and you may yet glimpse what lies beyond this tower.
