Beta Tests (CBT): Dates, Sign-Ups, and Platforms

China's third test (旅迹测试) has been running since 2026-09-17 11:00 (UTC+8), and no end date has been announced. No English or global test has been announced as of 2026-09-28.

Current Status

• The only test running now is China's third test.
• The Korea, Taiwan / Hong Kong / Macao, and Japan CBTs have all ended.
• No English or global test has been announced.
• No region has a release date yet (Release Date).

All Tests So Far

• Every PC client was for Windows.
• Every test deletes play data after it ends.

China Third Test

• The test is named 旅迹测试. The official key visuals print the English name WAYFARE TEST.
• Recruitment opened on 2026-07-10 09:00 (UTC+8) (official TapTap).
• It is a paid, limited test, and its data is deleted afterward.
• Manjuu's announcement lists PC (Windows), HarmonyOS, Android, and iOS.
• Test passes and pre-download went out from 2026-09-15 15:00 (UTC+8) (official TapTap). Players check for a pass in their TapTap site messages.
• The test started on 2026-09-17 11:00 (UTC+8) (official TapTap). The end date will be announced later.
• One pass works on both PC and phone. Each platform (Windows, Android, iOS) can register only one device.
• Players must pass real-name verification and be 18 or older.
• Test passes cannot be shared, transferred, lent, or sold.
• Manjuu's announcement (2026-09-17) lists 22 playable characters and more than 200 Kibo, about 70 of them new. Maple is one of the new characters, and the test adds a new region, 迷迹森林, and a gacha (Observation).

Japan CBT

• Yostar ran the Japan CBT.
• Applications ran from 2026-06-01 (Mon) 14:00 to 06-25 (Thu) 14:00. Players applied by answering the survey behind the Apply button on the official CBT page. Yostar said winners would be drawn by lottery if applications exceeded the slots.
• Results went out by email from 2026-06-29 (Mon) 14:00. Yostar said official X would announce when sending started.
• The winner email carried the join steps, and each winner received the app for the OS they chose when applying.
• The test ran from 2026-07-02 (Thu) 12:00 to 07-10 (Fri) 17:00.
• It supported PC (Windows) and Android. Yostar noted that some devices might not work.
• Paid items could not be bought. All play data was reset after the test and does not carry over to launch.
• Transferring or selling the right to play was forbidden.
• Players could publish gameplay videos, screenshots, and live streams within the fan content guidelines.

Korea CBT

• Nexon ran the Korea CBT.
• Applications ran from 2026-03-14 (Sat) to 04-24 (Fri) 11:59. Players applied in the Nexon First app, opened from a QR code on the official site (Nexon).
• Applying required a Nexon ID and a one-time phone verification, and it was open to ages 15 and up. Applying also completed pre-registration.
• Results came out on 2026-05-06. Players checked them by logging in on the official site, and winners got a text message (LMS) (Nexon).
• Pre-download opened on the afternoon of 2026-05-13.
• The test ran for four days, from 2026-05-15 (Fri) 12:00 to 05-18 (Mon) 23:59.
• It supported PC (Windows) and Android. Mac, iOS, tablets, and PC emulators were not supported. Streamer-slot players could play on PC only.
• There was no paid content. Test accounts and data were deleted after the test (Nexon).
• Nexon announced a survey from 05-16 12:00, with 3,000 Nexon Cash for each player who completed it.
• Players could not stay logged in on PC and phone at the same time.

Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao CBT

• NIJIGEN GAMES ran this CBT.
• Applications ran from 2026-05-15 to 05-29 23:59 through a survey on the official fan page (GNN).
• The test ran from 2026-06-12 11:00 to 06-15 16:00, with pre-download from 06-09 15:00 (GNN).
• It was a free, limited test on PC (Windows) and Android, and its data was deleted afterward.
• The official letter after the test listed more custom key bindings and better gamepad support among planned changes (GNN).

China First and Second Tests

First Test (2025-08)

• The test was named 星至测试. It was Manjuu's first online test.
• Recruitment ran from 2025-07-15 to 07-28 23:59 (official TapTap).
• It was a free, limited test on PC (Windows) only, and its data was deleted afterward.
• Passes and pre-download went out from 2025-08-12 15:00. The client was distributed through the bilibili game center (official Bilibili).
• The test ran from 2025-08-15 11:00 to 08-18 16:00 (UTC+8).
• Players had to pass real-name verification, and minors could not join.

Second Test (2026-04)

• The test was named 恒序测试.
• Recruitment ran until 2026-03-17 23:59 through a survey on a dedicated page (Manjuu's notice).
• It was a free, limited test on PC, Android, and iOS, and its data was deleted afterward.
• Passes and pre-download went out from 2026-03-31 15:00 (official TapTap).
• The test ran from 2026-04-03 11:00 to 04-11 16:00 (UTC+8).
• One pass worked on both PC and phone, with one device per platform.

How Sign-Ups Worked

• Every China test required real-name verification. The third test is limited to players aged 18 and up.
• Launch pre-registration is covered in Release Date.

Carry-Over and Refunds

• All six tests so far deleted their data, and nothing carries over to launch.
• Only China's third test has paid content. After launch, money spent in the test is returned as the paid currency 星虹 (official TapTap, 2026-09-15).
• The refund covers purchases of 星虹, the 30-day 飞信订约, the 普罗米利亚游记 pass, and paid outfits and shop packs.
• Refunds convert at 1 CNY = 10 星虹: 200% for the first 2,000 CNY, 150% for the part from 2,000 to 5,000 CNY, and 125% for the part above 5,000 CNY.
• Each 飞信订约 purchase also returns one 飞信订约凭证 voucher, up to 3. Using one extends 飞信订约 by 30 days and gives 300 星虹.
• A 普罗米利亚游记 purchase returns a 豪华游记凭证 or a 游记拾遗凭证 voucher, depending on the tier bought.
• Example: one 飞信订约 purchase returns 30 CNY × 10 × 200% = 600 星虹, plus one 飞信订约凭证.
• Refunds arrive by in-game mail. Use the same Manjuu Pass that paid in the test, and create a character within 365 days of launch. The mail also expires after 365 days.
• Only cash payments count. Bonus currency such as first top-up extras and gifted 秘虹晶 is excluded.
• Payment was open on PC, Android, HarmonyOS, and the web store. iOS players were told to pay through PC or the official Android client.
• Manjuu said a page to check refund amounts would open during the test.
