Mega Manectric is a cycle build, weakening physical attackers via post-Mega Intimidate. High Speed deploys Light Screen, and Volt Switch enables reducing ally damage and creating favorable matchups — that's the goal.
Raise support performance
Discharge over Thunderbolt raises paralysis chance. Paralyzing before switching makes teammates' matchups even better — recommended.
Intimidate and Light Screen reduce both offensive sides, base 135 Sp.Atk and Speedhigh-tier stats enable attacking and pivoting. Chip while Volt Switching to allies — flexible play.
Weak to Ground types
Mega Manectric learns no special move that hits Ground, so Ground types are threats. Face-offs even disable Volt Switch, so just switch out.
Example Threats
Sash Attacker
Focus Sash shields attacks for offense.
