What Kind of Game Is It?
The developer describes it as an open-world survival game: you hunt and explore across a vast field, with crafting and survival elements alongside the hunts.
You head out on hunts with a party of characters called Adventurers, built from three types, plus Buddies such as the Palico. You can hunt solo or team up with up to 4 players.
Seven classic weapon types are confirmed: Great Sword, Long Sword, Dual Blades, Hammer, Lance, Heavy Bowgun, and Bow. More weapons are planned in future updates.
Alongside series favorites like Rathalos and Rathian, the game introduces its own Elder Dragon, Ruger Aidal, and special Radiant variants.
