How it works
+30 Security reputation: the Security Surplus perk (20) from the start, 10 points from Security Protection (40, thieves avoid you). Wanted-list report rewards ×1.5. Cannot be combined with Convict.
If you earn from reports
Rating
+30 raw Security reputation and 50% higher report rewards are useful for a reporting or permit plan. Reports can lower other factions, and the starting bonus does not remove crime evidence.
On Red InkFor Fence, the scenario's -30 Security change becomes -60, then this raw +30 leaves -30. It improves the start but does not remove the -20 penalty.

- Fence begins with an adverse Security change; adding 30 raw reputation limits that liability. Keep funding crime control because difficult starts can still remain negative.

Perks that work well with it
- Weapon Permit II
The reputation bonus helps reach the issuance threshold of 50. The upgrade must still be bought and the permit actually issued.
Perks that work against it
- Known Snitch
Removing wanted-poster visitors removes those reporting opportunities, wasting that part of the reward bonus. The Security bonus and valid aug-kill bonus still remain.
