How it works

Going out after hours (Dumping Ground, Commissary, Dr. Jackson and other places) leaves you up to one fewer normal customer the next day; this perk removes that penalty. Early on, with 2–3 normal customers a day, losing one is a third to half of them. The more you go out at night, the more it pays.

Rating

SMajor priority

Frequent after-hours supply or scavenging trips otherwise leave you up to one fewer normal customer the next day. One point preserves that repeated opportunity; losing it can be costly when normal customer counts are low. It still needs a usable quota and saleable stock.

Chemist has many scheduled suppliers and contract visits, so normal customer traffic is a smaller part of its opening plan. Preserving it after equipment trips remains useful for surplus sales and sourcing.

Perks that work well with it

  • Proficient Scavenger

More searches per outing combine with preserving normal customers afterward; the actual loot and trades must still cover the plan.

  • Prime Real Estate

The added normal customer slot is less likely to be spent offsetting an outing reduction. Extra starting rent still requires profitable stock turnover.

Perks that work against it

  • Agoraphobia

The required rest nights reduce how often the outing benefit can be used. Customer preservation does not shorten those rest nights.
