Starter banner: Pull It First

If you still have the starter banner, pull it before any other banner. It guarantees an SSR adventurer within 50 pulls, and 10-pulls are 20% off, so you get an SSR more cheaply than on the standard banner.

Adventurer Tier List

Featured Adventurers

Here's how the adventurers featured on the current banners rank in our tier list.

AdventurerRating
Midori
  • Steady high damage from an easy-to-fill Spirit Gauge and special moves
  • Moment of Insight deals even more damage when you land the perfect-timing input
  • Excellent Perfect Evade and special moves that count as dodges leave no openings in offense or defense
Rhodes
  • Spends Core Energy to deal big damage
  • Builds up Steam Energy and converts it into Core Energy
  • Perfect Evade and counters eliminate openings

Featured Buddies

No Buddy is featured on the current banners. Of these banners, SSR Buddies drop only from the standard banner and the rotating banner; the featured banner and the starter banner don't give SSR Buddies.

If you pull on the standard banner, these are the SSR Buddies worth hoping for. You can also choose either one with the 300-pull pick.

BuddyRating
Nailu
  • Best Buddy for Arkaya
  • Highly versatile support
  • Performs excellently even when its adventurer can't grant shields
Daisho
  • Rank:S
  • Best Buddy for Pyro
  • Support effect suited to dragon Great Swords and Dual Blades
  • Supports adventurers only through its support effect and Adventurer Boost

Should You Pull? Who Should Pull or Skip

Here's a quick guide to who should pull on each banner and who can skip it.

Starter banner: Pull As Soon As You Have Contracts

Spend your Standard Contracts on the starter banner as soon as you have them. It guarantees an SSR adventurer 40 pulls sooner than the usual 90-pull pity, so it's the best way to strengthen your team early on. It doesn't drop SSR Buddies, so if you want one, pull a different banner.

The starter banner has no end date. Stick to Standard Contracts from rewards and don't spend Rutacoin on it; save Rutacoin for the featured banner and Energy.

Midori is a Fire attacker whose damage comes from Skill 3: chain into the second and third follow-ups to deal huge damage. Midori is currently the strongest Fire adventurer, so make this banner a top priority if you need a Fire attacker.

Midori deals more damage alongside Ryunosuke, an SR Fire support, so this banner is an especially good pull if you already have Ryunosuke.

On the other hand, Midori is a pure attacker and easy to replace, so you can skip this banner if you already have enough damage dealers.

Standard banner: Spend Your Leftover Contracts Here

The Standard Contract works on the standard banner, the rotating banner, and the starter banner. Once the starter banner is done and no adventurer you want is on the rotating banner, use it here. The standard banner has no end date and no planned lineup changes, so don't spend Rutacoin on it.

Who to Pick at 300 Pulls

At 300 pulls in total, you can pick any one SSR adventurer or Buddy from the standard banner. Adventurers are the better pick: SSR Buddies are mostly built for specific adventurers, while more adventurers of different elements help you take on more monsters. We recommend Arkaya and Pepper, followed by Keres. If you'd rather take a Buddy, Nailu is the one to choose.

Rotating banner: Pull If You Want the Featured Adventurer

The rotating banner features a different adventurer from the standard banner each time. Limited adventurers never appear on it, but when one you want is featured, pull here instead of the standard banner. It uses the same Standard Contract as the standard banner.

The current featured adventurer is Rhodes, an Ice attacker who spends Core Energy to deal massive damage. As a Hammer user, Rhodes is also good at breaking hard parts such as monster heads.

The featured banner uses the Featured Contract, while the standard banner, the rotating banner, and the starter banner use the Standard Contract. You can get both from events and other rewards, or buy them for 150 Rutacoin each.

You can keep pulling the standard banner with contracts from rewards without any rush, so if you buy contracts with Rutacoin, choose the Featured Contract. Rutacoin is also used for things like Energy refills, so think it over before you buy.
