Mega Heracross has decent bulk stats but poor type resistances. With no action assurance, it gets OHKO'd if faster Pokémon hit its weaknesses.Using Grassy Glide can reverse type relationships, so create situations where it can be used safely with backup Pokémon.

Mega Heracross has many strong moves, so every slot is flexible. Keep at least one max-power STAB; pick moves filling team gaps or hitting meta weaknesses.
Brought out after team support, a sweep role demolishing the team with high-Attack multi-hits and high-power moves. Above-average bulk also resists priority pinning.
Weak to bulky physical Pokémon
Mega Heracross fights via offense, so bulky physical Pokémon are threats. Also, Archaludon and similar Staminausers vs. multi-hits have Defense raised drastically, so be careful.
