Choice Scarf boosts Speed; high Sp.Atk lets it outspeed and attack — a speedy attacker. Modest nature supplements Speed while boosting power to secure KO range. U-turn enables pivoting too — flexible play.
U-turn is useful but narrows coverage
U-turn is handy for breaking Sashes or chipping on switches, but KO damage is not expected.Per team, Flamethrower for Scizor, Earth Power for Glimmora, Focus Blast for Tyranitar can broaden coverage.
With Choice Scarf surprise, pin fast attackers, taking them out first. Pivot in bad matchups; in favorable ones, sweep with high-power moves as a cycle sweeper.
Very weak to Fairy types
4x to Fairy and STAB doubly resisted — Fairy types are extreme threats.Aegislash or Galarian Slowkingand similar bulky Fairy-resists are countermeasures. High-Sp.Def Pokémon like Tyranitar are also threats.
