Collector of Supply Crates and Access Cards

SPrepare for this customer
A seller of goods that are hard to get elsewhere, equipment, a reward or an unlock the specialization's route depends on, a deadline or branch to decide in advance, or a danger of major loss such as game over, arrest or confiscation makes advance preparation worthwhile. A high priority does not mean every purchase or report is recommended.
AUseful in the right situation
A main buyer of your goods, a seller of some of your inputs, a side income, optional input, reputation opportunity or conditional risk matters when the matching stock, branch or cash need exists. Check the condition before reserving scarce money or goods.
BOrdinary response is enough
The specialization does not normally depend on this customer's goods or outcome. Serve an appropriate incidental trade when the visitor comes without planning the business around it; a low priority does not remove legal or safety consequences.

What happens
The collector notices the crates and cards you own.

Choices

Hear the introduction (no dialogue choice)

  • The collector can come back 7 or more days later.

Recommended response

There is no sale or reward choice in the first meeting. Owning at least two Supply Crates or Access Cards in total enables this introduction, after which you can reserve spare ones for the later buyer instead of assuming the opening scene awards valuable random weapons.

Visit 2

When
At least 7 days after the Case Enjoyer's first visit. The Case Enjoyer has already come once. The Case Enjoyer has not come back yet. The Case Enjoyer has arranged to come back. Earliest possible day: 9.
What happens
The collector buys cards and crates; when the trade ends or you send the collector away, the opening scene plays once.

Choices

Complete a trade

  • Buy or sell the goods listed for this visit, within the visitor's budget. What you pay or receive depends on the deal you agree on.
  • At the end of the scene, you get 1 Glass Shiv. The crate, card and changing weapons shown during the scene are only for show; there is no random loot.

Let the visitor leave without a deal

  • This visit ends without a purchase. Later visits follow their own conditions.
  • At the end of the scene, you get 1 Glass Shiv. The crate, card and changing weapons shown during the scene are only for show; there is no random loot.

Recommended response

Sell spare Supply Crates or Access Cards if his price is preferable to their other uses; the base budget is 1000 before bonuses. Trading and dismissing both lead to the same scene and one Glass Shiv. The changing weapons, crate and card shown in the scene are props, not random loot or a purchase-dependent bonus.

Notes

  • The opening scene plays even if you sell nothing.
