About
Wanted list and reporting guide
Security officer whose story turns on his addiction
Officer Lun brings the Security Wanted List and explains the counter alarm on day 1, unless you chose Known Snitch. On day 9 he explains reporting sellers of Mid-Level Contraband or higher; that visit comes even with Known Snitch and without the first conversation. Neither visit comes with Skip Intro.
Officer Lun first shops on patrol, then is wounded and wants painkillers, and from then on his story depends on his addiction. Selling him Narcotics deepens it, while a Synaprest Injector later eases it; his surplus-equipment sale and the inspection happen only while he is still addicted.
Priority by specialization
Apprentice
- Priority
- AUseful in the right situation
- Why it matters
- As Apprentice, his scheduled food or medical trades are supplementary to food and household goods; non-narcotic treatment avoids creating the later addiction branch.
Water Merchant
- Priority
- AUseful in the right situation
- Why it matters
- As Water Merchant, his scheduled food or medical trades are supplementary to bottled water; non-narcotic treatment avoids creating the later addiction branch.
Fence
- Priority
- SPrepare for this customer
- Why it matters
- As Fence, reports and inspections affect your illegal-stock plan, and his addiction branch can bring a destructive visit even without a normal inspection.
Rock Bottom
- Priority
- AUseful in the right situation
- Why it matters
- As Rock Bottom, his scheduled food or medical trades add income beside the goods you pick up at the Dumping Ground; non-narcotic treatment avoids creating the later addiction branch.
Hydroponic Farmer
- Priority
- AUseful in the right situation
- Why it matters
- As Hydroponic Farmer, his scheduled food or medical trades are supplementary to crops, coffee and wine; non-narcotic treatment avoids creating the later addiction branch.
Gunsmith
- Priority
- SPrepare for this customer
- Why it matters
- As Gunsmith, reporting opportunities can support weapon-permit reputation, while deliberately raising his addiction creates a later stock-destruction visit.
Chemist
- Priority
- SPrepare for this customer
- Why it matters
- As Chemist, selling Narcotics can make his day-24 visit destroy exposed narcotic stock; reserve non-narcotic medicine or the Synaprest Injector instead of treating each sale in isolation.
Rat Wrangler
- Priority
- AUseful in the right situation
- Why it matters
- As Rat Wrangler, his scheduled food or medical trades are supplementary to meat from your rats; non-narcotic treatment avoids creating the later addiction branch.
Aquafarmer
- Priority
- AUseful in the right situation
- Why it matters
- As Aquafarmer, his scheduled food or medical trades are supplementary to fish and roe; non-narcotic treatment avoids creating the later addiction branch.

- SPrepare for this customer
- A seller of goods that are hard to get elsewhere, equipment, a reward or an unlock the specialization's route depends on, a deadline or branch to decide in advance, or a danger of major loss such as game over, arrest or confiscation makes advance preparation worthwhile. A high priority does not mean every purchase or report is recommended.
- AUseful in the right situation
- A main buyer of your goods, a seller of some of your inputs, a side income, optional input, reputation opportunity or conditional risk matters when the matching stock, branch or cash need exists. Check the condition before reserving scarce money or goods.
- BOrdinary response is enough
- The specialization does not normally depend on this customer's goods or outcome. Serve an appropriate incidental trade when the visitor comes without planning the business around it; a low priority does not remove legal or safety consequences.
Events
Quick summary
Day 12Sell medical supplies, not Narcotics
→each Narcotic item adds to his addiction.
Day 13The Lower Level Citizen selling his stolen equipment has a hidden bounty
→report him (150).
Day 16If he is addicted, sell him a Synaprest Injector: it cuts his addiction sharply, while other Narcotics add more.
Day 24If he is still addicted, he destroys every Narcotic left out in the shop (ones in containers are not found). Reporting him on day 20 prevents this.
Visit 1 (Day 1)
- When
- Day 1, unless Skip Intro is selected. Known Snitch prevents this visit.
- What happens
- He explains the counter alarm, hands over the Security Wanted List, and advises identifying wanted visitors before reporting them while they are still in the shop; mistaken reports can bring a fine.
Choices
Continue the conversation; no branching choice
- Learn how to compare visitors with the Security Wanted List and report them with the counter alarm before they leave.
- During the conversation, one Security Wanted List of your own is placed in the middle of the counter.
- You can use the document you received to view the wanted list; the conversation does not open it for you.
- The visitor leaves.
Recommended response
Accept the wanted-list guidance and use the supplied list before reporting a visitor who is still in the shop. The conversation offers no branching reward and does not itself report anyone; a mistaken report can cost you a fine.
Notes
- The list is only for checking visitors. You report with the separate counter alarm, and whether the current visitor can be reported depends on that visitor; this visit does not unlock reporting.
Visit 2 (Day 9)
- When
- Day 9, unless Skip Intro is selected. Known Snitch does not block this visit, and completing the day-1 conversation is not required.
- What happens
- He returns with advice on reporting sellers of Mid-Level Contraband or higher, including the possible reputation cost and rewards based on seized contraband.
Choices
Continue the conversation; no branching choice
- Learn the reporting guidance for sellers of Mid-Level Contraband or higher and its reputation and reward effects. This conversation gives no items and unlocks nothing.
- The visitor leaves.
Recommended response
This only explains reporting serious contraband sellers and the reward and reputation consequences. There is no new item or unlock to earn with a particular reply, and it can occur even if the first wanted-list lesson was skipped.
Visit 3 (Day 11)
- When
- On day 11.
- What happens
- Officer Lun, on patrol, wants food.
Choices
Complete a trade
- Buy or sell the goods listed for this visit, within the visitor's budget. What you pay or receive depends on the deal you agree on.
- The next visit comes on its own day, whether or not you trade now, if its conditions are met.
Let the visitor leave without a deal
- This visit ends without a purchase. Later visits follow their own conditions.
- The next visit comes on its own day, whether or not you trade now, if its conditions are met.
Recommended response
Use the visit for an ordinary food sale if you have stock he wants, or dismiss him without a sale. Neither action prevents the attack and medical visit on the next fixed day, so there is no need to sacrifice food to preserve the story.
Visit 4 (Day 12)
- When
- On day 12.
- What happens
- Wounded in an attack, he buys medical supplies or Narcotics.
Choices
Sell medical supplies that are not NarcoticsRecommended
- Buy or sell the goods listed for this visit, within the visitor's budget. What you pay or receive depends on the deal you agree on.
- Medical supplies that are not Narcotics do not add to his addiction.
- The next visit comes on its own day, whether or not you trade now, if its conditions are met.
Sell Narcotics
- Buy or sell the goods listed for this visit, within the visitor's budget. What you pay or receive depends on the deal you agree on.
- Each Narcotic item he buys deepens his addiction, however many units it holds.
Prefer medical supplies that are not Narcotics if you want the sale without causing addiction. Each Narcotic item he buys raises addiction, regardless of its units; declining adds none, and day 16 still follows its fixed schedule. The addiction route can later produce a destructive inspection, so a quick drug sale has a longer cost.

Visitor on this visit: Lower Level Citizen
- When
- On day 13.
- What happens
- A Lower Level Citizen sells equipment taken in the attack on the officer, and has a hidden bounty.
Report the visitor to SecurityRecommended
- Once the visitor is captured, you receive the bounty and Security reputation; perks and the difficulty change the amounts.
- The next visit comes on its own day, whether or not you trade now, if its conditions are met.
Recommended response
Identify and report the attacker rather than paying for the stolen equipment merely to continue the story. The hidden bounty has base value 150, and capture also changes reputation under the report rules; trading or dismissing does not stop the later fixed visits.
Visit 6 (Day 16)
- When
- On day 16.
- What happens
- Back on duty, he wants Narcotics but will also buy a Synaprest Injector.
Choices
Sell a Synaprest Injector
- Buy or sell the goods listed for this visit, within the visitor's budget. What you pay or receive depends on the deal you agree on.
- Each Synaprest Injector he buys greatly eases his addiction (no lower limit).
- The next visit comes on its own day, whether or not you trade now, if its conditions are met.
Sell other Narcotics
- Buy or sell the goods listed for this visit, within the visitor's budget. What you pay or receive depends on the deal you agree on.
- Narcotic items he buys now add more to his addiction.
If addiction needs treating, a sale of the Synaprest Injector lowers addiction sharply and can prevent the conditional day-20 and day-24 visits. Other Narcotics add more per item instead, while dismissing leaves addiction unchanged. There is no need to consume an expensive injector to reduce an already harmless addiction level.
Visit 7 (Day 20)
- When
- On day 20. Officer Lun is still addicted, even slightly.
- What happens
- If he is still addicted, he comes to sell equipment as “surplus”.
Report the visitor to Security
- Once the visitor is captured, you receive the bounty and Security reputation; perks and the difficulty change the amounts.
- Once he is arrested, the later inspection does not happen.
- The next visit comes on its own day, whether or not you trade now, if its conditions are met.
Recommended response
This visit only occurs if addiction remains positive, so do not create it just to obtain surplus stock. Buy useful goods at an acceptable price or let him leave, but reporting and having him arrested prevents the day-24 narcotic destruction. Compare that consequence with your stock and faction reputation before deciding.
Visit 8 (Day 24)
- When
- On day 24. Officer Lun is still addicted, even slightly. Officer Lun has not been arrested.
- What happens
- If he is still addicted and has not been arrested, he inspects your shop for Narcotics.
Choices
Undergo the inspection (no dialogue choice)
- He destroys every Narcotic lying directly in your shop, on the front and back counters and in the Display Case (Narcotics inside containers are not found). There is no fine.
- If none are found, the officer leaves without confiscating anything.
Report the visitor to Security
- Once the visitor is captured, you receive the bounty and Security reputation; perks and the difficulty change the amounts.
Recommended response
The destruction is automatic, not a dialogue choice: every exposed Narcotic on either counter, in the shop or in the Display Case is destroyed, with no fine. Narcotics inside containers are not found by this special check, and an empty check destroys nothing. A report remains a separate capture action; preventing addiction or his earlier arrest avoids this visit altogether.
