Swap subweapons
Alolan Ninetales' Freeze-Dry is interchangeable with Moonblast or Encore. Moonblast has higher power; Encore raises support performance.
Setting snow via ability and deploying Aurora Veil to reduce team damage is the main role. Beyond support, snow-boosted always-hit Blizzard chips the whole opposing field as an attacker — that role too.
Weak to weather-changing Pokémon
Alolan Ninetales fights under snow, so Pokémon that change weather later are threats. If opposing weather setters appear, lead with a teammate to seize weather.
