氣勢披帶+激流可活用飛水手裡劍或對水屬性的打點打草結等可選。擴大招式範圍時將特性改為變幻自如改變抗性同時作戰也推薦。
對較慢對手以特殊招式削減,於不利對面或將被倒下時,毒菱佈下支援後續的角色。不僅作為攻擊手,對對手迴圈施加毒負擔的起點製造也能作為其運作的靈巧行動。
甲賀忍蛙對難以擊中弱點的一般或鋼屬性高耐久寶可夢對打不利。判斷2發無法擊倒時也考慮交換作戰。

從高速度對對手麻痺狀態附加,以多個設置技賺取定數傷害支援後續全抜的角色。降低對手速度後,冰凍光束削血或活用特性以彈性屬性變化持續留場運用可能。

草屬性打點以蜻蜓返也是選擇
將快速折返更換為蜻蜓返,活用草屬性打點與循環也是一個選擇。能透過變幻自在變為本系招式也是優點。
從先發或死後上場登場,擔當以從上方攻擊削減對手的攻擊手角色。此外,配合對手交替或不利對面選擇「快速折返」,支援我方有利展開的潤滑油也起作用。
頭巾持有攻擊手或高耐久特殊受是弱點
甲賀忍蛙的弱點是頭巾攻擊手或高耐久特殊受。因耐久低,被超速會大幅增加變幻自在改變屬性前被擊倒的危險。此外,高耐久特殊受難以擊倒,所以用其他寶可夢處理吧。
