靈騷對「橙色果」或「氣勢披帶」等對消耗持有物的寶可夢無效。此外,也有為對應靈騷而刻意不攜帶道具的寶可夢,請注意。
對劍形態被攻擊較不利
此型沒有王者盾牌,因此一旦變為劍形態,在被收回前無法回到盾牌形態。對能一擊擊倒盾牌形態的高火力寶可夢,或能承受並對劍形態反擊的寶可夢較不利。

主力技撐竿光線被後出承受,難以完成角色。鎧甲機械手的羽棲息等持有回復手段、耐久戰強的寶可夢也是棘手對手。
