Character Level Cap and Pathfinder Rank

Your character level is separate from your Aniimo's individual levels, but it acts as a hard cap: your Aniimo can't surpass your current character level.

To raise your character level cap, you need to pass an Elite Training Promotion Assessment to upgrade your Pathfinder Rank. A Title Promotion (such as to "II Student") raises your Character Level Cap and Aniimo Level Cap together by the same amount (25 to 35 in the case we confirmed), and increases World Level and Challenge Rewards accordingly.

Passing the assessment grants a new title, new Talents to unlock, an Aniimo Level Cap increase, and Report Cards, which are Talent Points used to unlock Talent Skills and Passives.

According to player experience, Pathfinder Rank promotion gates occur at character levels 25, 35, 40, 45, 50, and 55, with level 60 being the final gate before the current endgame level cap. The current character max level is 71.

If you're blocked at a Pathfinder Gate, any excess Character EXP you earn is safely stored until you unlock the gate. This doesn't apply to Aniimo EXP.

Tips to Level Up Fast

  • Focus on the required Elite Training courses and Daily Activities first, since both provide large and consistent amounts of Safaris.
  • Farm high-level wandering Alphas: defeating them grants high EXP to your active party, and defeating an Alpha for the first time also grants a one-time bonus (500 EXP for the higher-level Alphas we confirmed).
  • Quickly progress through the Main Story to unlock higher Pathfinder Ranks, which give access to new gameplay features and high-EXP areas.
