Journey to Bloomville is the main questline that runs through Nimbus Fields and the Sea of Flowers across three sub-quests. Here's every objective in order, plus the Aromathyst and Duskwhisper gathering tutorial, the perfume-crafting steps, and the Day and Night Switch.

This sub-quest takes place in Nimbus Fields. Its quest targets are "Proceed to Bloomville." and the optional "Catch a sleeping Aniimo 0/3."
Follow the quest marker toward Bloomville, and Nicole will meet and talk to you along the way. Along the same path you can optionally catch up to 3 sleeping Aniimo, such as Celestis, that you'll find resting around the area, though this doesn't block progress if you skip it.
Keep heading toward the marker until Lunara notices a sweet fragrance and gets dizzy. Follow the marker again to a sleeping Iris resting near a censer: this is Sunia, who is twined with the Iris. Talking to her completes the sub-quest.

This much longer sub-quest is set in the Sea of Flowers. Its quest target starts with "Enter Bloomville."
Reveal the Sea of Flowers Map
At the entrance to Bloomville, Nicole points out a Bloom in the distance. Approach and activate it to reveal the Sea of Flowers area on your map.
Learn About the Bloom Festival
Turn around and speak with Sunia and Nicole to learn about the Bloom Festival. Head to the plaza and examine the stone statue at its center to trigger a cutscene where Aeolus discusses Sol and Lun.
On the way up the hill, you can optionally talk to Jessica to learn background details about Aeolus. Your main task is to enter the Elder's house and talk to Sunia about offering fragrance for the Bloom Festival using aromathysts.
Gather Aromathyst and Duskwhisper
Go to the Perfume Workshop and talk to Selene, who gives you a tutorial on gathering Aromathyst and Duskwhisper.
The tutorial tells you to catch and twine with a Dewy, then search the Sea of Flowers and interact with glowing flowers to gather Duskwhisper. Duskwhisper can only be collected while twined with a Dewy, not in your human form. Once you have some, fly back to the Dewy's birdhouse-shaped nest and select "Brew aromathyst" to turn it into a Duskwhisper aromathyst, then go to Arlo to refine it into Dusky Fragrance.
Craft the Perfume
Speak with Sunia at the perfumery bench, to the left of Arlo, to learn the perfume-crafting steps.

Day and Night Switch and a New Outfit
Go to the marked location and enter the Elder's house to stay the night. Follow the tutorial to open the Function Menu, select "Day and Night Switch", and set the time to night.
Go upstairs and interact with the bed to rest, talking with Lunara until you both fall asleep. Approach the mirror near the bed and select "Claim" to receive the Plumeville outfit; changing into it is optional.
Complete Ceremony Preparations
Head to the marked venue to trigger the opening cutscene and complete the sub-quest.

Speak with the Elder to begin the Bloom Festival and watch the cutscene where the ceremony fails. Then go to the perfumery bench to speak with Sunia, who mentions traveling to Lumenfly Valley next. This completes The Unbegun Ceremony and the Journey to Bloomville main questline.
