Sparkling Crystals can be obtained from Elite Training, Glimmer Purchase, Catch Completion, Companion Handbook, Holo-Battle Sim, Holo-Battle Interlink, Complete Quests, Sanctum Clear, and Chest rewards.
According to player experience, Sparkling Crystals can also be earned as a one-time reward from RV Level Up, though this isn't listed in the item's official source list.
Fully clearing the chests in a Sanctum can also reward Sparkling Crystals: one playthrough of the Sanctum First Spark rewarded 10 Sparkling Crystals.
Aniilog milestone rewards can include Sparkling Crystals as well.
