A Sparkling Aniimo, also called a shiny, can come from Sparkling Eggs, Sparkling Cubes, random encounters, or Sparkling Sigils. Here's how each route works, where to get Sparkling Crystals, how to reroll a Prismana Aniimo's Sparkling Hue, and every Sparkling Type.
How to Get a Sparkling Aniimo
You can get a Sparkling Aniimo (also called a shiny) by hatching a Sparkling Egg, capturing one with a Sparkling Cube, finding one randomly out in the world, or using 10 Sparkling Sigils.

How to Guarantee a Capture With a Sparkling Cube
A Sparkling Cube is a rare Aniipod. When you use it to catch an Aniimo, the catch is guaranteed to succeed, the Aniimo will always be Sparkling, and its Potential will always be Perfect.
How to Get a Sparkling Cube
Sparkling Cubes can be exchanged for 1,000 Sparkling Crystals from a vendor at the Outpost.
How to Get Sparkling Crystals
Sparkling Crystals can be obtained from Elite Training, Glimmer Purchase, Catch Completion, Companion Handbook, Holo-Battle Sim, Holo-Battle Interlink, Complete Quests, Sanctum Clear, and Chest rewards.
According to player experience, Sparkling Crystals can also be earned as a one-time reward from RV Level Up, though this isn't listed in the item's official source list.
Fully clearing the chests in a Sanctum can also reward Sparkling Crystals: one playthrough of the Sanctum First Spark rewarded 10 Sparkling Crystals.
Aniilog milestone rewards can include Sparkling Crystals as well.
How to Use Sparkling Sigils
A Sparkling Sigil is a consumable item that turns an eligible regular Aniimo directly into a Sparkling Aniimo.
- To use one, open your Inventory, go to Aniimo Items, select Sparkling Sigil, and choose Use. The Aniimo storage box opens with every eligible Aniimo highlighted.
- Each transformation costs 10 Sparkling Sigils.
- Aniimo that are already Sparkling, and special fixed variants such as Irisalis, show "Not available" and can't be selected.
How to Reroll a Prismana Aniimo's Sparkling Hue
Sparkling Sigils can also be exchanged for Sparkling Pigments, a material for changing how a Sparkling Prismana Aniimo looks.
- At the Item Exchange shop of the Outpost vendor, 5 Sparkling Sigils get you 1 Sparkling Pigment.
- Sparkling Pigments can only be used on a Sparkling Prismana Aniimo, where they randomly reroll its Sparkling Hue. Regular Sparkling Aniimo can't use them.
The developers have announced that starting in Version 1.1, you'll be able to switch freely between any Sparkling Hues a Prismana Aniimo has already unlocked without rerolling, and switch back to its original non-Sparkling colors at any time. Developer notice on X
Sparkling Types
There are 12 Sparkling Types: Sparkling Type I to X, plus Dazzling and Shadow Sparkling. Dazzling and Shadow Sparkling are very rare and can only be obtained in certain ways.
- Using a Sparkling Cube on any Aniimo, or on an egg that didn't come from Operation: Egg Heist, has a small chance of giving Dazzling.
- Using a Sparkling Cube on an egg from Operation: Egg Heist can give Shadow Sparkling.
- Using Sparkling Sigils or Sparkling Pigments also has a chance of giving Dazzling or Shadow Sparkling.
Tips
- Sparkling Cubes are hard to come by, so it's worth saving them for a strong Aniimo or one you plan to use often.
- If you spot a Sparkling Aniimo out in the world, consider using an Aniipod Ultra to help secure the catch.
- In the early-to-mid game, guaranteed sources such as Legendary Eggs are reportedly the most common way to get a Sparkling Aniimo.
