Things to Know Before You Start

Safaris EXP is character EXP. It's completely separate from Aniimo EXP and doesn't touch your Aniimo's individual levels at all.

Your character level caps how strong your Aniimo can get (in the example we checked, character level 35 matched an Aniimo Level Cap of 35), and it also determines the quality of rewards you earn for the same time spent.

Do This First: Plan Your Route

Check the Daily Activity screen first. It lists a handful of tasks, each with its own claim button and reward, plus a milestone track for hitting a running total. You can reach it from the Institute Guide (press F4).

Check active events next. Aniimo usually has several running at once, and some pay out rewards for nothing more than logging in.

If Stamp Rush is active, take a look. It bundles challenges like defeating Alphas or clearing Holo Battle Sim runs, and pays out Windborn Stamps you can spend at the Stamp Shop.

Open the Quick Leveling Guide to see your Main Story, Elite Training, Daily Activity, and new-Aniimo-catching progress in one place. You can reach it from the Events screen by selecting the controller icon in the bottom-left corner.

Then open Elite Training and claim anything already sitting there. Each objective has a Track button so you can see where it is, along with the requirements and the level cap you unlock next (40, in the promotion we checked).

Go through the objectives one by one, prioritize the ones tied to your main quest, then check which other objectives sit near that same spot. Build a single route out of the objectives that cluster together instead of criss-crossing the map.

Do This Along the Way

Catch any Aniimo you haven't caught before while you're running your route. It feeds region progress and grants Safaris EXP on top of that.

Grab any Lumin Ambers you spot along the way too.

Clear any Pathfinder Challenges you run into. Defeating a Pathfinder grants rewards such as Safaris EXP and Besauce fragments, which you can trade in batches of 40 for Besauce at a Pathfinder outpost shop. The one we confirmed (Pathfinder Theo) was in Breezy Plains.

Catch Alphas When You're Ready

Catching an Alpha, such as Alpha Stellarys, pays out a mix of rewards: EXP, Credits (5000 in the example we checked), and an Elemental Stone item.

A better Aniipod makes a real difference against Alphas. In the catch screen we checked, the free Aniipod had a 6% catch rate against Alpha Stellarys, while an Aniipod Ultra had 100%.

Only take on an Alpha, or anything tougher, once you're actually prepared for it and have a strong Aniipod on hand.

If you're after specific Alpha rewards, check the Aniimo Challenge screen under Institute Guide. It sorts rewards into categories: Evolution Material, Resonance Star-Up Material, Held Item, and Capability Awakening Materials.

Tips

Don't farm Alphas just for Safaris EXP. The rewards are repeatable, but every attempt costs Primegy (30, in the fight we checked), Aniimo's gacha-style energy currency.

Don't chase Daily Activity cards one at a time either. Work them into the route you're already running instead. Going after each one individually just wastes the time your route would have covered anyway.
