Alpha Turbo is a floating Wind element boss you'll run into during the Chasing the Clouds quest. Here's where to find it, its full moveset, and how to bring it down and catch it.

Where to Find Alpha Turbo

Alpha Turbo appears in Breezy Plains. You'll run into it while progressing through the Chasing the Clouds main story quest.

Alpha Turbo Weaknesses

Alpha Turbo is a Wind element Aniimo. Bring Electric or Light element Aniimo to deal Super Effective damage, and avoid bringing Dark or Wind element Aniimo, since they only deal Not Effective damage against it.

Alpha Turbo Moves and Attacks

Charge AttackA glowing orb appears above Alpha Turbo's head, then a straight red line marks the ground where it will charge forward. Dodge to the side to get out of the path.
Wind Blow AttackAlpha Turbo unleashes a cone-shaped frontal wind attack, marked in red on the ground. It deals continuous damage the whole time you stay in it, so dodge to the side.

Partway through the fight, Alpha Turbo floats into the air and becomes immune to attacks, only using its Charge Attack while airborne. Here's how to bring it back down.

  1. Wait for the floating state

    Once Alpha Turbo lifts off, the game marks it as protected and unable to be attacked. Don't waste resources attacking it directly while it's airborne.

  2. Lure it into sticking to 2 Nimbis

    The game prompts you to lure the floating Alpha Turbo into sticking to 2 Nimbis in the area. Doing so makes it too heavy to stay airborne, and it crashes back down.

  3. Attack the Nimbis to open it up for a Counter

    After Alpha Turbo crashes down, attack the Nimbis it's stuck to. This leaves Alpha Turbo defenseless and open to a Counter hit.

How to Catch Alpha Turbo

Once you defeat Alpha Turbo, you get a chance to catch it.

Every catch attempt costs 30 Primegy, on top of the Aniipod you use.
