How to Unlock Flowers and Thorns - Sea of Flowers

Head to the abandoned house in Sea of Flowers to start the quest.

You need to Twine with a Budsquire or one of its evolutions during this quest, so bring one in your party.

Flowers and Thorns - Sea of Flowers is a Journey Quest in The Legend of Flowers and Thorns series, set in Sea of Flowers. Its Log entry says the Budsquires seem to be holding a tea party in an abandoned house there, and wonders what kind of story they'll tell.

Flowers and Thorns - Sea of Flowers Walkthrough

1. Hear the first part of the story

   For the first objective, "Are the Budsquires having a tea party?", go to the marked abandoned house in Sea of Flowers and talk to the Storyteller Budsquire to hear the first part of the story.

2. Defeat the four Lethal Thorns

   For "Defeat the four Lethal Thorns outside.", go to the marked spot outside the ruins and defeat Carola, Carolina, Carlos, and Callies. Where to find them and how the battles work are covered below.

3. Hear the rest of the story

   For "Listen to the Budsquire tell the rest of the story.", return to the abandoned house and talk to the Storyteller Budsquire again to hear how the tale ends. When the conversation ends, the quest is complete and you receive the rewards.

How to Beat the Four Lethal Thorns

The four Lethal Thorns are Thornblades named Carola, Carolina, Carlos, and Callies. Talk to one to start a battle, and defeat all four to complete the objective.

1. Find Carola and Carolina

   Carola and Carolina stand by the stone wall of the ruins, both with the "Lethal Thorn" title above their names.

   
2. Find Carlos and Callies

   Carlos and Callies are on the other side of the stone structure, with a speech icon above them.

   
3. Fight them one by one or all at once

   You can battle the Lethal Thorns one at a time in any order, or take on all four together.
