How to Unlock That's Art! Not Scribbles! VI

To start That's Art! Not Scribbles! VI, finish That's Art! Not Scribbles! III first. Until then, the Clue: Zealous Painter entry in the Log shows the tip "Continue the prerequisite quest."

Once you finish That's Art! Not Scribbles! III, part VI unlocks automatically. The game numbers the quest after III as VI, not IV.

That's Art! Not Scribbles! VI is the last Journey Quest in the That's Art! Not Scribbles! series, set in Astra. You meet Shulala in Horizon Square and work out which Aniimo Shulala drew.

Its Log entry reads: "Shulala's creation is almost done. Here is his last completed sketch..."

That's Art! Not Scribbles! VI Walkthrough

  1. Talk to Shulala in Horizon Square

    For "Talk to Shulala", go to Horizon Square in Astra and talk to Shulala.

  2. Look at the final sketch

    The next objective is "Use the sketched clues to find the right Aniimo." Shulala shows you a final sketch: a round Aniimo outlined with fuzzy strokes, with leaf-like shapes on it. Shulala asks: "Pathfinder, this is my final challenge... Tell me, what is it?"

  3. Ask Shulala for a hint if you need one

    If you're stuck, talk to Shulala again for a hint: "This Aniimo likes hanging around beaches, and its 'roundness' is like a drop of water, or a grain of sand."

  4. Get a Budclaw

    The answer is Budclaw. If you don't have one, you can find and catch Budclaw around Zephyrus Landbridge, Nimbus Fields, Berylline Vale, and Beast Fang Ridge in Breezy Plains. Select Budclaw (Basic Form) on the map to see where it appears.

  5. Summon your Budclaw

    Summon your Budclaw so it's out in the field with you. In part III, a Pomegg that was only in the party without being summoned didn't count, so don't leave your Budclaw in the party only. It doesn't have to be the Basic Form: a Bay Form Budclaw also lets you continue the quest.

  6. Talk to Shulala with Budclaw out

    Talk to Shulala while your Budclaw is summoned. Shulala presents the finished painting and gives you Budclaw Under the Starry Sky. Receiving it completes That's Art! Not Scribbles! VI and finishes the That's Art! Not Scribbles! series, so no further quest unlocks after it.
