An Answer from the Heavens is a Journey Quest in Blitzwood where the Bolties under the Blitz Tree seem to be making phone calls. Here's how to start it, every objective in order, and what you get for finishing it.

How to Unlock An Answer from the Heavens

The quest starts from a Clue about Bolties making phone calls, "A Bolty on the Phone?", shown as a lightbulb icon on the map beneath the Blitz Tree in Blitzwood. Its details end with "Go check beneath the Blitz Tree during the day."

Go to the Blitz Tree during the day and approach the queue of Bolties gathered there to start the quest.

You need your own Bolty to Twine with during the quest, so catch one before you start.

An Answer from the Heavens Walkthrough

1. Listen to the Bolties' conversation

   For the first objective, "Listen to the Bolties' conversation.", Twine with a Bolty from your party, then approach the Calling Bolty and listen in on what it's saying.

2. Follow the root down to the Frizzy Young Bolty

   For "Who is it calling?", head to the back of the Bolty queue and find the root that stretches into the cave beneath the Blitz Tree. Follow it down into the underground hole and talk to the Frizzy Young Bolty.

3. Make a call under the Blitz Tree

   For "Twine with a Bolty and make a call under the Blitz Tree.", go back up to where you started the quest. While Twined with a Bolty, select the "Make a call" prompt, which appears at a set spot, to trigger a cutscene.

4. Pick up the Golden Answer

   For "What's beneath the Blitz Tree?", check the ground where you made the call and pick up the Golden Answer.

   
5. Reply to the Frizzy Young Bolty

   For "Reply to the Frizzy Young Bolty.", go back down into the cave beneath the Blitz Tree and talk to the Frizzy Young Bolty again. When the conversation ends, the quest is complete and you receive the Capacitous Battery held item along with the other rewards.

About the Golden Answer

The Golden Answer's description opens with "A branch that fell from the Blitz Tree during a thunderstorm, like an answer from the clouds. Perfumer Avetine from Bloomville is looking for it."
