Everlasting Echoback Song is a Journey Quest in Echoback Landing where you help the painter Sorora recover his lost memories. Here's how to start it, how to strike all 13 Echonites, what the painting choice changes, and the rewards.
How to Unlock Everlasting Echoback Song
Go to the marked spot along the shore in Echoback Landing and talk to Sorora to start the quest. There are no prerequisite quests.

What to Prepare
You can only strike the Echonites at night. Change the time with the Day and Night feature in the menu when you reach that part of the quest.
Bring a Fire-type Aniimo. You need it to burn away the thick thorn vines wrapped around an Echonite.

Everlasting Echoback Song Walkthrough
- Talk to Sorora
For the first objective, "Talk to the mysterious painter.", talk to Sorora and agree to help him witness the Echobacks at night so he can recover his lost memories.
- Strike all 13 Echonites at night
For "Strike the echonite at night and discover the secret of the Echoback bones.", strike all 13 Echonites in order at night. The full route is covered below.
- Gather the Whalesong Blossom
For "A rare flower seems to have bloomed on the shore…", follow the marker down to the shore, find the glowing Whalesong Blossom, and interact with it to gather it.

- Pick one of Sorora's paintings
For "Ask Sorora if he finished his painting.", return to Sorora and talk to him. He asks you to pick one of his paintings, and finishing that conversation completes the quest.
About the Whalesong Blossom
The Whalesong Blossom's description reads "These flowers only bloom when they feel a sense of longing. Perfumer Elvira is looking for them to craft a legendary perfume."
How to Strike All 13 Echonites
There are 13 Echonites in total. Striking one sends a blue light trail toward the next, and you have to strike them in the exact order the trail shows.
- Switch to night
Open the menu and use the Day and Night feature to change the time to night. Echonites can only be struck at night.
- Burn the thorns on the first Echonite
The first Echonite is wrapped in thick thorn vines. Burn them away with your Fire-type Aniimo, then strike the Echonite. The on-screen hint reads "Try striking those blue crystals at night."

- Follow the blue light trail
After each strike, follow the blue light trail across the whale bones to the next Echonite and strike it.

- Reach Echonites in hard spots
Hit high-up Echonites with Aim skills or ranged attacks, break the boulders around rock-sealed ones, burn thorn-covered ones with Fire attacks, and climb the whale bones to reach the ones on top.
- Strike the last Echonite
Keep following the trail and striking each Echonite in turn. Striking the last one triggers a cutscene.
Which Painting to Choose
When you return to Sorora, he asks "Which one do you like better?" and offers two paintings: "Symphony of Reunion." and "Echoes of a Vigil."

You receive the painting you pick as a Quest Item. The choice only decides which painting you get: the quest rewards are the same either way. You can't change your pick after you confirm it, so choose the one you like.
Everlasting Echoback Song Rewards

| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| Safaris | x1000 |
| Glimmer | x30 |
