How to Unlock A Fragrant Journey: Echoback Landing
The quest starts from the Clue "Longing by the Water", shown as a lightbulb icon on the map. Its details end with "Look for Elvira the perfumer at the entrance to Bloomville."
Go to the entrance of Bloomville and talk to Elvira the perfumer to start the quest.
You need the Whalesong Blossom from the Journey Quest Everlasting Echoback Song. You only have to reach the point where you pick it up; you don't need to finish that quest.

A Fragrant Journey: Echoback Landing is a Journey Quest in The Legend of Echoback Landing series, set in Echoback Landing. Its Log entry opens with "Perfumer Elvira always sits at Bloomville's entrance. Word is she's searching for the treasure of Echoback Landing, the Whalesong Blossom."

A Fragrant Journey: Echoback Landing Walkthrough
- Get the Whalesong Blossom
For the first objective, "Go to Echoback Landing and make the whalesong blossoms bloom.", play Everlasting Echoback Song until you pick up the Whalesong Blossom on the shore. If you don't have it yet, the Log shows "Tip: Try progressing the quest “Everlasting Echoback Song” first. Tap here for a quick view." Once you pick up the flower, the objective completes and changes to the delivery step.
- Give the Whalesong Blossom to Elvira
For "Give the whalesong blossom to Elvira.", return to Elvira at the entrance of Bloomville. On the Deliver Items screen, select the Whalesong Blossom (x1) and press Confirm to hand it over.
- Receive the Whisper of Longing
After a short conversation with Elvira, the quest is complete and you receive the Whisper of Longing Curio along with the other rewards. Its description opens with "A legendary perfume crafted by Elvira with whalesong blossoms. Those who catch its scent will drift into gentle, tender memories."
