Alpha Geoclaw is an Ice element boss hiding in a cave under Nimbus Fields. Here's where to find it, why Fire and Earth element Aniimo are the best pick, the attacks we saw including Ice Prison and the frozen state, and how to catch it.

Where to Find Alpha Geoclaw

Alpha Geoclaw is found underground, in a cave in Nimbus Fields. The game recommends Lv.55 for this fight. There are no prerequisites for the fight itself, but the cave it lives in has to be unlocked first. Once you reach it, the battle begins.

Alpha Geoclaw Weaknesses

Alpha Geoclaw is an Ice element Aniimo, so Fire and Earth element attacks are Super Effective against it. Fire and Earth element Aniimo are the best choice: their attacks are Super Effective, and they also resist Alpha Geoclaw's own Ice attacks. The map panel agrees, listing Fire and Earth as Highly Recommended and Ice, Water, and Lightning as Not Recommended.
