Where to Find Sanctum: First Sight

Sanctum: First Sight is located to the left (west) of the Alpha Aniimo Rookey and the Russet Highlands Nurture Bloom on the map.

Sanctum: First Sight Objective

The sanctum's objective is to reach its heart and restore the Vein. Aside from that objective, 5 chests are hidden throughout the sanctum.

How to Solve the First Sight Puzzle

The sanctum's puzzle is built around the Sealed Aniimo Helmut's Detection skill. Detection reveals the ball and the Rams hidden behind the wall.

You then use the Rams to guide the rolling ball to the Ball Socket.

Chest Locations in Sanctum: First Sight

  1. Chest 1: left after the staircase

    In the room where the Sealed Aniimo is, turn left after the staircase.

  2. Chests 2 to 5: behind the metal gate

    Chests 2 to 5 are locked behind a metal gate that opens when you solve the 2nd Ram Track puzzle.

How to Open the Blue Chests

Step 1: Raise the Ram, and don't let the ball get thrown into the air.

Step 2: Wait until the ball reaches the lower right Ram and is blocked just before the Ball Socket.

Step 3: Press the Ram button to raise the Ram.

Step 4: Once the first blue chest unlocks, wait for the next ball to reach the lower ground.

Step 5: Lower the Ram and then raise it to send the ball flying to the next track. This unlocks the 2nd blue chest.

How to Open the Purple Chest

Step 1: Lower the upper right Ram, then raise it once the ball reaches the gap.

Step 2: Press the button to raise the central upper Ram.

Step 3: When the ball reaches the gap before the central lower Ram, press the button to send it flying.

Step 4: Do the same with the lower left Ram to send the ball to the Ball Socket.

How to Open the Gold Chest

Step 1: Toggle the Ram switches to send the ball to the upper left Ram.

Step 2: Once the ball lands on the left track, toggle the switch to stop it.

Step 3: Lower the Ram once the moving wall finishes moving up.

Step 4: Raise the Ram to send the ball flying when it reaches the gap.

Repair the Vein and Claim Your Reward

Once you've obtained all 5 chests, head to the end of the sanctum and interact with the cube to repair the Vein.

The first-clear reward is Lumin Amber x1 and Character EXP x500.
