Sanctum: Shattering Stone is a solo puzzle dungeon on Zephyrus Landbridge built around Magmarex's Fast and Furious skill and a timed obstacle race. Here's where to find it, how to solve its puzzle, and where to find all 3 chests.

Where to Find Sanctum: Shattering Stone

Sanctum: Shattering Stone is located in the eastern part of the Zephyrus Landbridge region, inside an underground tunnel network with 2 separate entrances.

  1. West Entrance (Inactive Hot Spring)

    The west entrance is located next to the western Teleporter Bloom. Drop down into the inactive hot spring spout to enter the tunnel network leading inside.

  2. East Entrance (Island Shortcut)

    The east entrance is on the eastern island closer to the sanctum. You'll need an Aniimo that can shatter cracked rock barriers to get through.

Sanctum: Shattering Stone Objective

The sanctum's objective is to reach its heart and restore the Vein. Beyond that objective, the sanctum also hides 1 exploration chest, plus 2 more chests awarded for completing a timed obstacle race.

Sanctum: Shattering Stone is a solo challenge. You don't need to team up with another player to enter.

How to Solve the Shattering Stone Puzzle

The puzzle in Sanctum: Shattering Stone centers on Sealed Aniimo Magmarex's Fast and Furious mobility skill, which lets you charge forward and smash through rocky obstacles blocking your path.

Beyond the puzzle, you'll also need to clear a timed obstacle course, dodging rolling boulders and explosive barrels to clear it within the target time.

  1. Watch for alternating hazards on the downhill

    In the downhill section with 2 lanes, rolling rocks and explosive barrels alternate sides. Steer clear of the wooden barrels, since hitting one launches you back with knockback.

  2. Use geyser shortcuts to skip curves

    Smashing the cracked rocks over the inactive hot spring vents triggers an upward geyser launch, letting you skip some of the course's longer curves.

Chest Locations in Sanctum: Shattering Stone

  1. Chest 1: behind the pedestal where you get Magmarex

    Right after acquiring Magmarex, turn around and smash the cracked rock wall behind the pedestal to reveal this hidden chest.

  2. Chests 2 and 3: clear the obstacle race quickly

    These 2 chests are awarded together at the end of the timed obstacle race, based on your final completion time. Finishing in under 1 minute 35 seconds awards both chests at once.

Repair the Vein and Claim Your Reward

Once you've claimed all 3 chests, head to the final platform and interact with the cube to repair the Vein. Doing so awards Lumin Amber x1, and clearing the sanctum for the first time also awards EXP x500.
