Warrior is the Journey Quest in Beast Fang Ridge where you uncover the truth behind the Inferlupa's flying head. It spans 3 real-time days, and completing it unlocks Flameruff's evolution into Inferlupa. This guide covers how to start it, the objectives in order, and its rewards.
Quest Overview and Rewards
Warrior is a Journey Quest in The Legend of Thousand-Fang Ridge series, and it takes place in Beast Fang Ridge. Its description in the Log reads: "In the Dead Forest of Beast Fang Ridge, there's a legend about 'a wolf's head taking flight' in the night."
There is another Journey Quest called Warrior in the Russet Highlands, in The Legend of Helmuts and Helgons series. This guide covers the one in Beast Fang Ridge.

How to Unlock Warrior
Warrior's map marker is the Clue "the Inferlupa's Flying Head?" (the lightbulb icon) in Beast Fang Ridge.

To start it, set the in-game time to night and go to the campfire in Beast Fang Ridge, where a group of Emberpups tells a ghost story. Listen to the story and the quest begins.
The ghost story does not happen during the day. If it is daytime, change the in-game time to night.
Day 1: Fight the Old Inferlupa
- Uncover the truth of "the Inferlupa's flying head."
Go to the marked location in Beast Fang Ridge and talk to the Old Inferlupa. Choose "Fight me!" to start the battle.

- Defeat the Inferlupa.
Fight and defeat the Lv.39 Inferlupa. It has the Fire and Dark elements.

- Talk to the Inferlupa.
After the battle, talk to the Inferlupa. It mentions an Icho that took the fire from the ridgeback trees.
- Ask around about the Inferlupa
Go back to the group of Emberpups and talk to them to gather information.
Optional: Talk to the scared Emberpup.
Talk to the Fragrant Emberpup and it runs away. Follow the quest marker to where it is hiding behind a rock and talk to it again. Dr. Lewis then calls to say that the Icho wants to see you.
When we played Warrior, finishing this optional objective unlocked the Journey Quest Fists I, starting with the objective "The Icho's Request?". We have not checked whether Fists I can also be unlocked another way.

- Wait until tomorrow (real time)
The quest cannot continue until the next real-world day, after the daily server reset. While you wait, you can do the optional eavesdropper objective described below.
Optional: Look for Clues About the Eavesdropper
An optional objective to look for clues about the eavesdropper appeared on each of the three days, and we followed the same steps each time.
- Look for clues about the eavesdropper.
Go to the blue smoke marker and pick up Spirit Dust: Inferlupa. The objective changes to "Find the eavesdropper."
- Find the eavesdropper.
Follow the new marker and talk to the Inferlupa there.
Spirit Dust: Inferlupa can be inspected. Its description reads "Inferlupa's Spirit Dust. As the dust settles, its fighting spirit rekindles." and goes on to tell the story of Graymane, a Flameruff.

Day 2: Hear About the Undefeated Warrior
- Ask about the Inferlupa.
After the daily server reset, go to the marked location and talk to the group of Emberpups. They tell stories about the "Undefeated Warrior."
- Wait until tomorrow (real time)
Wait for the next real-world day, after the daily server reset, to reach the final part of the quest. The optional eavesdropper objective is available again today.
Day 3: Defeat the Lv.43 Inferlupa
- Ask about the Inferlupa.
After the second server reset, go back to the group of Emberpups at the objective marker. This time they tell stories about the "Immortal Warrior."
- Fight the Inferlupa
Go to the Inferlupa at its mountain marker and talk to it to start the final battle. The optional eavesdropper objective is also available today.
- Defeat the Inferlupa.
Defeat the Lv.43 Inferlupa. Like on Day 1, it has the Fire and Dark elements.

- Talk to the Inferlupa.
A cutscene plays automatically when you win. Afterwards, talk to the Inferlupa to finish Warrior.
