Warrior is the Journey Quest where you pull out the Sword of Bravery while Twined with Helmut, and Helmut evolves into Pawney. Completing it lets you continue Ancient Sacred Fragrance. This guide covers how to start it, the objectives in order, and its rewards.
Quest Overview and Rewards
Warrior is a Journey Quest in The Legend of Helmuts and Helgons series, and it takes place in the Russet Highlands. Partway through the quest, its Quest Target in the Log reads "Find clues in the Russet Highlands to restore the painting."
The quest description reads: "The painter Sorora stands looking at a painting in Russet Highlands, muttering the strange phrase 'a ghost swings its sword at the dragon.' It seems to be connected to a memory he's lost."

How to Unlock Warrior
Warrior's map marker is the Clue "The Painter of the Russet Highlands" (the lightbulb icon) in the Russet Highlands, part of Breezy Plains. Its description begins "At the Helmut Habitat, the painter Sorora is troubled by a blurry painting."

To start it, find the painter Sorora at the Helmut Habitat in the Russet Highlands and talk to him.
If you have not talked to Sorora yet, the quest also starts once the main story quest Ancient Sacred Fragrance reaches the point where it requires Warrior.
Warrior is a Journey Quest that the main story requires. The Ancient Sacred Fragrance objective reads "Search for the incense of courage and complete the quest [Warrior]." Completing Warrior lets you continue Ancient Sacred Fragrance.

- Have Helmut in your active party. You Twine with it to break the Dragonclaw Stone and pull out the Sword of Bravery
- The quest includes a fight against a Lv.50 Fire Infergon (the objective shows Recommended: Lv.50)
The Ancient Sacred Fragrance page in the Log shows Recommended Level: 48, but that number is for the main story quest. Inside Warrior, the recommended level for pulling out the sword and for the Infergon fight is Lv.50, and the Infergon objective shows Recommended: Lv.50.
Find Clues in the Russet Highlands
The step titles below are the quest objectives.
- A painter is in trouble.
Find Sorora the painter near the cliffs in the Russet Highlands and talk to him to help restore his lost memories.
- Find clues in the Russet Highlands to restore the painting.
Go to the marked ruins and talk to the Weeping Helmut.
- Find clues in the Russet Highlands to restore the painting.
The objective stays the same. Follow the marker up the mountain path and talk to the Hiding Helmut.
- Go to the top of the mountain and find more information about the legend of Pawney.
Head to the objective marker at the mountain peak.
Pull Out the Sword of Bravery
- Check on the Helmut / Check the marks on the ground.
Inspect both spots in any order: the exhausted Helmut with no armor, and the eye-shaped mark on the ground that shows where the Sword of Bravery lies inside the storm.
- What awaits me within the storm?
Walk straight into the storm ahead.
- Twine with Helmut and shatter the Dragonclaw Stone.
With Helmut in your active party, Twine with it and break the Dragonclaw Stone with Helmut's skill. Basic attacks do no damage to the stone.
- Pull out the Sword of Bravery.
While still Twined with Helmut, interact with the sword to pull out the Sword of Bravery. The objective recommends Lv.50. Helmut evolves into Pawney, and an Infergon boss appears.
Helmut must be in your active party to pull out the sword.

Defeat the Infergon and Return to Sorora
- Defeat the Infergon and revive the Pawney’s legend.
Fight and defeat the Lv.50 Fire Infergon. The objective recommends the same level.

- A Flame Flower has grown here.
After the fight, pick up the Flame Flower that grows in the center of the arena.

- You revived the Pawney’s legend. Return to Sorora.
Go back to Sorora at the Helmut Habitat and talk to him. His memory returns, you receive the Sword of Bravery curio, and Warrior is complete.

The Sword of Bravery is a rare curio described as "A rare curio, consolidating the Helmut's understanding of evolution." Its description also says it was formerly known as the Rusty Iron Sword and is now "a symbol of bravery required for timid Helmuts to evolve into Pawneys…"
