Alpha Magmarex is a Fire and Rock element boss in the Zephyrus Landbridge. Here's how to reach it, why Water element Aniimo are the best pick, the attacks we saw including its overheated state, and how to catch it.

Where to Find Alpha Magmarex

Alpha Magmarex is found in the Blazing Rock Cavern in the Zephyrus Landbridge. It respawns 20 seconds after being cleared, and there are no prerequisites to fight it: head to its location and the battle begins.

On the way, lava rocks underground block your path, and you need to destroy them to get through. A short cutscene plays when you approach the rocks and shows you how.
