The Fulminous Soul (Soul of Electric Shock) unlocks Wisptis's branching evolution into Fulmintis. Here's where to get it, what the evolution needs, and how to get Fulmintis without the paid Advanced Edition.

What Is the Fulminous Soul?

The Fulminous Soul is the evolution item that unlocks Fulmintis, the Nova Stage branching evolution of Wisptis. Its description reads "Unlocks Fulmintis's Branching Evolution."

The same item goes by two names. The Companion Handbook and your inventory call it "Soul of Electric Shock", while the Evolve screen calls it "Fulminous Soul".

How to Get the Fulminous Soul

You get 1 Fulminous Soul as the level 10 reward of the Advanced Edition, the paid track of the Companion Handbook.

It is not a reward on the free Standard Edition. The item's description says "Available from the Advanced Companion Handbook.", and its How to Obtain field lists only the Companion Handbook.

We haven't found any other way to get the Fulminous Soul in Season 1. We found no way to craft it, no free source, and no shop exchange for it.

How to Evolve Wisptis into Fulmintis

  • Your Wisptis must reach Aniimo level 29.
  • You must have a Fulminous Soul in your inventory.
  • The evolution costs 1 Roar Stone, the material for evolving Lightning Aniimo. Roar Stones come from defeating Alphas.

The Fulminous Soul is not used up when you evolve. It only has to be in your inventory. The item in the Cost slot is the Roar Stone.

Can You Evolve Wisptis into Fulmintis Without It?

No. "Obtain item: Fulminous Soul" is one of the evolution criteria, so Wisptis can't branch into Fulmintis without it. If you don't have the Advanced Edition, you can still get Fulmintis itself in the ways below.

How to Get Fulmintis Without the Advanced Edition

Incredible Fulmintis Egg from the Standard Edition

The free Standard Edition of the Companion Handbook gives 1 Incredible Fulmintis Egg at level 10. Hatch it in an Outpost Hatchinator or a Home Hatchinator. It is guaranteed to hatch an Aniimo with Elite potential or higher.

If you twine a Sparkling Cube to the egg when you hatch it, the Aniimo is guaranteed to have Perfect Potential and be Sparkling.

Extra Copies from Aniimo on a Trip

Once you have a Fulmintis, send it on a trip from your RV Park. An Aniimo brings back at most 1 Mysterious Aniimo Egg per trip, and the longer the trip, the higher the chance. The egg's family is related to the Aniimo that went on the trip, and it can inherit that Aniimo's form and mutation, including the Prismana Form and Sparkling.

When we sent a Prismana Fulmintis on trips, the eggs it brought back hatched into both Wisptis and Fulmintis. None of them were Sparkling or Prismana.

Trip eggs can give you extra Fulmintis (they can also hatch Wisptis), so you can keep hatching until you get one with better Potential, all without buying the Advanced Edition.

Trips unlock with the Signal Transmitter, an RV component you get at RV Level 6. Upgrading it lets more Aniimo stay at your RV Parks and unlocks longer trips:

Prismana Fulmintis Egg Rerun in Season S3

The Prismana Fulmintis Egg is a reward of this season's Advanced Edition. According to the Companion Handbook's Rerun Details, this Prismana Aniimo Egg will return in Season S3, and you will be able to get it through Home-related gameplay.

Can You Trade Fulmintis?

Yes. You can trade Fulmintis with friends through Aniimo Exchange. What you can swap depends on your friendship tier with that friend:

Going by the tier descriptions, you can't trade Fulmintis at Good Friend, because Fulmintis is a Nova Stage Aniimo and Good Friend only covers the Lumin Stage. At Trusted Friend, we could select a Fulmintis with a maximum potential of 6 for a swap. We haven't tested Close Friend.

Going by the tier descriptions, Prismana Fulmintis can't be traded, like other Prismana Aniimo. Every tier only lists regular and Umbral Aniimo.
