Prismana Aniimo never appear in the wild on their own. This guide covers what makes them special, how to fill a region's Prismatic Energy to spawn one, how to clear Wild Surges faster, and where to get the limited seasonal Prismana.

What Are Prismana Aniimo?
A Completely New Look
Prismana Aniimo look entirely different from their base form. The change goes well beyond the difference between a base form and a regional form, so a Prismana is easy to tell apart at a glance.
Often an Extra Light or Dark Element
If the base Aniimo has only one element, its Prismana Form often gains a second one, usually Light or Dark. Only a few Prismana keep their base form's element unchanged, so check the element before you plan a matchup around it. Element Chart
A Skill Only the Prismana Can Unlock
Like other forms, each Prismana Form has a skill locked to it. You can't unlock that skill on any other form of the Aniimo until you've obtained the Prismana, so getting the Prismana is the only way to add it to your options.

Max Out Prismatic Energy to Spawn Prismana
Check the Area's Prismatic Energy State
Prismana Aniimo don't spawn naturally in the wild. They appear only when a region's Prismatic Energy maxes out. When you enter an area, the game shows its current state, such as "This area's Prismatic Energy state: Very Low", so you can tell how far you have to go.

Track the Prismana as Soon as It Spawns
When the energy maxes out, BINI tells you "Prismatic Energy has grown, drawing out this region's Prismana Aniimo. Go catch them!" and the Prismana's icon appears on the map. Head for the icon right away.

Once you're close, "Prismana Aniimo detected nearby." pops up. Press G to Start Tracking and follow the trail to the Prismana.

Pick the Region with the Prismana You Want
Each region is tied to a single Prismana Aniimo, and you can trigger its spawn as many times as you like. Pick the region whose Prismana you want and keep raising the energy there. The Nurture screen shows which Prismana each region can attract, such as "A chance to attract a Prismana Form Turbo" in Nimbus Fields.
Regular vs Seasonal Prismana Aniimo
Regular Prismana Are Always There
Regular Prismana Aniimo are permanently tied to their regions, so you can spawn them again anytime.
Get Seasonal Prismana While They Last
Seasonal Prismana are limited-time variants that come from events or the paid Companion Handbook. If you want one, go after it while its source is still running. These are the seasonal Prismana for Season 1:
| Prismana | How to Get |
|---|---|
| Glynsera, Melloblum, Waleetle, Inferlupa | Vein Abundance event (replaces a region's Prismana spawn for a week) |
| Fulmintis | Advanced Companion Handbook (Prismana Fulmintis Egg) |
| Infergon | Season Achievement 12 (Prismana Infergon Egg) |
| Sparkelf | SPARKELF × ANIIMO event (Prismana Sparkelf Egg) |
Vein Abundance Swaps a Region's Prismana for a Week
During Vein Abundance, a seasonal Prismana replaces the region's usual Prismana spawn for a week. The event screen marks it "Season Limited" and "Appear during Prismana Flow.", and its rules say that each time Prismatic Energy increases, there is a fixed chance to trigger Prismana Flow and draw out the region's Prismana.

Hatch Seasonal Prismana from Their Eggs
The other seasonal Prismana come as Eggs: the Prismana Fulmintis Egg from the Advanced Companion Handbook, the Prismana Infergon Egg from Season Achievement 12, and the Prismana Sparkelf Egg from the SPARKELF × ANIIMO event. Each Egg reads "Use in the Outpost Hatchinators to hatch Prismana Form Aniimo with a Perfect Potential rating.", so the Prismana you hatch always has Perfect Potential.

Raise Prismatic Energy with Nurture and Wild Surges
The most direct way to raise a region's Prismatic Energy is to use Nurture and clear the Wild Surge it starts.
- Pick a region and Nurture
Open Nurture at a Nurture Bloom and choose a region. The screen shows that region's Prismatic Energy state and the Prismana it can attract. Once your free Nurture chances are used up, activating a Nurture Bloom costs Vein Essence.

- Catch all 20 Aniimo before time runs out
A Wild Surge begins and a countdown starts. Catch all 20 Aniimo that spawn to complete it.

- Release the Prismatic Energy
When it ends, the game says "Wild Surge ended. Go to the Bloom to release accumulated Prismatic Energy!". Go back to the Nurture Bloom and release the energy (the prompt on the right of the first screenshot). Sometimes this maxes out the region's Prismatic Energy on the spot and spawns the Prismana.
Tip: Spend Nurture Chances Before They Cap Out
Nurture chances regenerate 1 per day and cap out at 3. Once you're holding 3, new chances stop building up, so use them regularly instead of saving them.
Tip: Look for Nurture Blooms, Not Teleport Blooms
Nurture Blooms are different from the Blooms you use to teleport around the map. Look for the interactive Nurture Blooms when you want to start a Wild Surge.

Clear Wild Surges Faster
Throw Tumblers to Catch Several at Once
A Tumbler catches 10 Aniimo in one throw, which takes a big bite out of a 20-Aniimo Wild Surge. They're costly, though: each one is 200k at the Outpost Shop, and you can't craft them.
Group Aniimo with Draw In, Then BREAK Them
Use an Aniimo's Draw In skill to pull the spawned Aniimo together, then stun them with a BREAK skill. Stunned Aniimo have a higher catch rate and are easier to catch. Hexxin is a popular pick for its Draw In skill.
Lure Aniimo with Rubber Duck Baits
Rubber Duck baits draw Aniimo in. They cost less than relying on Tumblers alone, but you still have to buy the baits. The Rubber Duck skill and baits unlock at III Student, and the best Rubber Duck skill and bait unlock at III Wayfarer.
Combine Tumblers with Rubber Duck Baits
Using Tumblers together with Rubber Duck baits speeds up Wild Surge farming even more.

Stack Extra Prismatic Energy Boosts
Farm During Vein Abundance Weekends
The weekly Vein Abundance event boosts your Prismatic Energy gains on top of bringing the seasonal Prismana. The boosted rates run on the event's Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The event screen also shows "Prismatic Energy from Nurturing +50%" with its own Attempts left counter (2/3 in the screenshot above).
Chase Lucky and Super Lucky Catches
Landing a Lucky or Super Lucky catch grants a big bonus of Prismatic Energy. They can happen during regular open-world hunting too, not only inside Wild Surges, so every catch counts.

Help High-Affinity Friends in Co-op
Helping high-affinity friends with their Wild Surge runs in co-op also grants bonus Prismatic Energy.
Change the Weather to Spawn Prismana Instantly
Skip Wild Surges with Prismana Weather
If you'd rather skip Wild Surge farming, change a region's weather to Prismana at the Branch. This spawns the Prismana right away.
Unlock Change Weather First
Change Weather isn't available from the start. Unlock the Prismana Radiance ability by infusing 60 Lumin Amber into the Breezy Plains Branch, and earn the region's Silver badge, which allows weather changes in that region. After that, each weather change costs 1 Prismana Crystal.
Mind Your Daily Activation Chances
The Prismana weather reads "The Vein energy overflows to generate prismana and attract rare Aniimo to enjoy the energy." and shows which Prismana Form Aniimo it can attract. The screen also tracks Daily Prismana Flow Activation Chances (0/3 in the screenshot), so plan which regions to use them on.
