The Perfect Path is a Journey Quest in The Legend of the Berylline Vale. Baleetle Jenny is looking for the owner of a lost mud ball, and the trail leads to Johnny and his rolling race. Here's how to start it, every objective in order, and the full reward list.

Quest Overview

The Perfect Path is a Journey Quest listed under The Legend of the Berylline Vale in the Journey tab of your Log. It takes place in Berylline Vale, which the map shows in the Breezy Plains region at Lv. 41~48.

The quest description reads: "Baleetle Jenny stands in the middle of the road in Berylline Vale, seemingly searching for the owner of a lost stone ball."

Quest Rewards

Completing The Perfect Path rewards Safaris x600, Glimmer x30, Credits x15,000, Sparkling Crystal x30, and Loam Stone x3.

Loam Stone is an Evolution Material. Its description reads: "Necessary material for evolving earth-type Aniimo."

How to Unlock The Perfect Path

The quest starts from the Clue "A Perfect… Mudball?", shown as a lightbulb icon on the map in Berylline Vale, in the Breezy Plains region. The Clue's details tell you to "Find Baleetle Jenny."

Find Baleetle Jenny in Berylline Vale and talk to her to start the quest.

Step 1: Find the Mud Ball's Owner

The first stage has two targets: "Find the mud ball’s owner." and "[Optional] Gather information about the mud ball [0/3]". After you talk to Jenny, four target markers appear on the map.

Johnny is the one who moves the quest forward. Two of the markers sit close together by the river, and he stands at the northern one.

The other three markers are NPCs who share more about the mud ball. Talking to them is optional and not needed to finish the quest.

Step 2: Is That… Jenny?

Follow the event dialogue. Jenny has transformed into a Bouldus and is hard to recognize. The conversation explains that every Baleetle has two consciousnesses: the Baleetle Consciousness and the Ball Consciousness.

Step 3: Chat with Johnny

Go back to Johnny's spot, where Jenny is now waiting too. Talk to Johnny to receive his racing invitation.

Step 4: Complete Johnny's Racing Challenge

The next target is "Complete Johnny’s racing challenge." Head to the marked challenge area and talk to Johnny to start the race.

The race is called "Dash! Leap! The Great Rolling Racing Challenge!", and the objective panel switches to "Johnny’s Racing Invitation". You have 1:30 to "Collect all rings and race to the finish! [0/9]", so you need all 9 rings.

You can use Hustle during the race. During Hustle, your Aniimo moves much faster, which makes it easier to clear terrain it normally couldn't cross.

Swapping your Aniimo mid-race fails the race with "Trial Failed" and "Stay twined at all times", but it does not block the quest. The target "Complete Johnny’s racing challenge." still completes and the story moves on.

Step 5: Chat with Johnny Again

After the race ends, or after you leave it, return to where you first spoke with Johnny. He has evolved into a Waleetle. Finish the last conversation with him to complete The Perfect Path.
