The Aniipod Ultra guarantees a catch and an Elite or better Potential rating. Here's every way to get one, what each costs, how Aniipod Ultra Vouchers work, and when to use it.
What an Aniipod Ultra Does
The Aniipod Ultra is a rare Aniipod that guarantees a successful capture, and the Aniimo you catch with it always has a Potential rating of at least Elite. It is one of two Aniipods that cannot fail. The other is the Sparkling Cube.
On the Alpha Blazen catch screen, the Aniipod Ultra and the Sparkling Cube both show a 100% catch rate, while the free Aniipod shows 7.2%.

Aniipod Ultra Vouchers

Take your vouchers to Vendor Joff at an outpost and open the Item Exchange tab in the shop. The Aniipod Ultra is listed there for 20 Aniipod Ultra Vouchers.
Item Exchange trades 20 Aniipod Ultra Vouchers for 1 Aniipod Ultra.
When to Use an Aniipod Ultra
Save your Aniipod Ultras for Alpha Aniimo. According to our recorder, an Alpha can only be caught after you defeat it, and you get a single catch attempt per fight. On the Alpha Blazen catch screen, the free Aniipod had only a 7.2% catch rate, while the Aniipod Ultra had 100%.
The Aniipod Ultra also guarantees a Potential rating of at least Elite. The Alpha our recorder caught with one was rated Elite.
Using Aniipod Ultra in Hatchinators
You can also twine an Aniipod Ultra to an Egg when you hatch it at a Hatchinator. The Aniimo that hatches from that Egg will have a Potential rating of at least Elite.
