Table Saw for the Carpenter Walkthrough Guide

The Carpenter needs a Table Saw to expand his abilities. A Table Saw takes Circular Sawblades to make, and he thinks they can be found in a town called Thornhold.

   Reach Thornhold

   Follow the quest marker on your World map to Thornhold.

   Investigate The Roads Around Thornhold

   Go to the marker northeast of Thornhold. In our playthrough, the objective moved on shortly after we reached the marker.

   Find The Circular Sawblades In The Scavenger Camp

   Move northeast of Thornhold to the camp at Fawnsong Frontier and Collect the Circular Sawblades from the cart under the pillar of light.

   Craft A Table Saw

   Craft the Table Saw at the Carpenter with 8 Wood Logs, 10 Nails, and 1 Circular Sawblades, then place it at your base. In our playthrough, the quest completed once it was placed.

The Journal lists Thornhold as the quest's location. While the objective is Reach Thornhold, the World map shows the quest marker southeast of the orange tower icon boxed in the screenshot below.

In our playthrough, we fast traveled to a Flame Altar we had placed ourselves southwest of Thornhold and walked northeast toward the marker. Our route crossed a short stretch of the Shroud before we reached Thornhold, and the Sacrificial Vukah Pit was charted as a new location there.

At Thornhold's wooden gate, Search this area appeared under the Reach Thornhold objective. When we entered Thornhold, it was charted as a new location and the objective changed to Investigate The Roads Around Thornhold.

For this objective, head to the marker northeast of Thornhold.

In our playthrough, we took down enemies in the camp grounds inside Thornhold with a bow from the town's rooftops.

In our playthrough, the objective changed to Find The Circular Sawblades In The Scavenger Camp shortly after we reached the marker, without searching anything.

For this objective, move northeast of Thornhold. On the way, Fawnsong Frontier was charted as a new location while the objective read Find The Circular Sawblades In The Scavenger Camp.

In our playthrough, we reached the fenced camp at Fawnsong Frontier at night and fought our way in with a bow. A Scavengers lore entry was also added along the way.

Look for a cart under a pillar of light inside the camp. Collect the Circular Sawblades from it, and the objective changes to Craft A Table Saw.

The cart gave us 1 Circular Sawblades, which is what the Table Saw recipe needs. In our playthrough, the Table Saw recipe at the Carpenter unlocked after we picked up the sawblades.

Back at your base, talk to the Carpenter to open his crafting menu. The Table Saw is listed under Production Place.

In our playthrough, crafting the Table Saw did not complete the quest. QUEST COMPLETED appeared right after the Table Saw was placed at the base.

When the quest completed, the notice on screen showed Quest reward XP +400, while the Journal had shown 200 XP under Rewards.
