The Blacksmith's Request Walkthrough Guide

The first objective leads to Trade Outpost "Blazing Rock" in the eastern part of the map. If you have no nearby base or Ancient Spire, one route starts at the Ancient Spire in Revelwood: glide toward the quest marker, then continue on foot.

Prepare your equipment before entering the outpost. Enemies in this area are level 16–18.

Look for the letter pinned to a board inside the outpost. Read it to advance to Investigate The Missing Shipment.

The next marker is east of the outpost, inside the Shroud. One route uses the outpost tower as a launch point: glide toward the marker, land on the plateau, then glide down toward the Shroud.

At Conway Camp, find the note inside a tent and read it. This advances the objective to Explore Jasper Isles.

Travel northeast from Conway Camp toward the quest marker in the Shroud. Watch your remaining Shroud time on the way. At the ruined building, climb the structure and enter the basement.

Follow the basement hallway to the open area. The Smithing Tools are just outside the doorway. Pick them up to advance to the placement objective.

Return to your base and move the Smithing Tools from your inventory to the shortcut bar. Select them, then use the left mouse button on PC to place them. Placing the tools completes the quest.

Picking up the Smithing Tools also unlocks their recipe at the Blacksmith. The recipe uses 5 Wood Logs and 5 Iron Bars, and the crafting screen lists a Sheltered Bed for the Blacksmith as a requirement.
