Pull If You Want a Fire Attacker

Midori on the team screen

The screenshot is from the Japanese version of the game.

Midori is a Fire attacker whose damage comes from Skill 3: chain into the second and third follow-ups to deal huge damage. Midori is currently the strongest Fire adventurer, so make this banner a top priority if you need a Fire attacker.

Especially Good If You Have Ryunosuke

Ryunosuke's Ultimate details

Midori deals more damage alongside Ryunosuke, an SR Fire support, so this banner is an especially good pull if you already have Ryunosuke.

You Can Skip It If You Have Enough Attackers

On the other hand, Midori is a pure attacker and easy to replace, so you can skip this banner if you already have enough damage dealers.

Midori's Strengths

Easy to Raise the Spirit Gauge Level

Midori's attack details (Spirit Gauge)

The screenshot is from the Japanese version of the game.

Hold Skill 1 to fill the Spirit Gauge, then land a hit once it's full enough to raise the gauge level. The follow-up attack from a Perfect Evade also raises the level, so it's easy to build up the gauge that Skill 3 spends.

Point!

Perfect Evades and the sheathe in Skill 3 let Midori parry attacks, so it's easy to avoid getting hit!

Good Timing Boosts Damage

Midori using Skill 3

The screenshot is from the Japanese version of the game.

Skill 3 spends Spirit Gauge levels to unleash powerful attacks. Time the sheathe to a monster's attack to spend less of the gauge, and hit the ring's timing when you use Skill 3 to deal even more damage. That makes Midori a strong attacker.

How Many Dupes of Midori Should You Get?

2 Dupes for Steady Damage

Midori's Insights (Maple Season Echo)

The screenshot is from the Japanese version of the game.

Getting duplicate copies (dupes) of Midori strengthens Midori's Insights. Midori's own Insights boost Skill 2, Skill 3, Evade, and the Ultimate. The Skill 3 one (Maple Season Echo) and the Evade one (Momentary Resonance) make Midori far more comfortable to play, so with 2 dupes, both handling and damage become steady.

Even 1 Dupe for the Evade Insight Is Worth It

Midori's Insights (Momentary Resonance)

One of Midori's own Insights, Momentary Resonance, extends invincibility when you evade and makes Perfect Evades easier to land. Since it makes Perfect Evades much less demanding, aiming for just 1 dupe for this Insight is also a good plan.

How Far Is Pity on Midori's Banner?

Here's how pity works on Midori's banner.

90 pulls (SSR; featured if you lost the 50/50)
120 pulls (featured, once only)

  • SSR adventurer guaranteed within 90 pulls50% chance it's the limited SSR
  • Limited SSR guaranteed by 180 pullsIf the first SSR wasn't the limited one
  • Featured adventurer guaranteed at 120 pulls (once only)

The 120-pull featured guarantee doesn't carry over. If you lose the 50/50 at 90 pulls, the extra 30 pulls to 120 lock in the featured adventurer, so it's usually worth going all the way to 120.

Gacha Rates & Pity

Should You Wait for the Next Banner?

Midori's banner runs until November 27, 2026. Midori is a limited adventurer, and there are currently no plans for limited adventurers to join the standard banner, so if you want Midori, pull before the banner ends.

If Midori doesn't fit your team, it's also fine to save up for a future featured banner. The Featured Contract is used only on the featured banner, so the ones you save will still be there for the next one.

There are two kinds of pity: one for SSRs and one for the featured adventurer. SSR pity, including whether you lost the 50/50, carries over between featured banners. If you lost the 50/50 on a past featured banner and haven't pulled an SSR since, your next SSR on a featured banner is the featured adventurer.
