When is Freya coming to Monster Hunter Outlanders? This page covers whether Freya's release date has been announced, the earliest Freya could arrive, where Freya appears in the story, and Freya's kit as a Fire Great Sword adventurer in the third closed beta.
When Is Freya Coming Out?
No Release Date Announced Yet
Freya's release date hasn't been announced yet (as of November 5, 2026). The adventurers for the second half of Season 0 haven't been revealed either, but the earliest Freya could arrive is with the banner update on November 27, 2026, when Midori's banner ends.
Some guide sites already list November 27, 2026 as Freya's start date, but it hasn't been confirmed in-game or in any official announcement.

Official Closed Beta 3 Trailer (YouTube, Japanese)Can You Check Freya's Kit Yet?
Kit Not Revealed In-Game or on the Official X Account
Freya hasn't been announced as a playable adventurer in-game or on the official X account, so Freya's kit in the released game can't be checked yet.
A Fire Great Sword Adventurer in Closed Beta 3
Freya was playable in the third closed beta test (CBT3). In that test, Freya was a Fire Disruptor adventurer who fights with the Great Sword.
Freya's Kit in the Closed Beta
Everything in this section is based on the third closed beta and may change in the released game. Gear builds for Freya depend on the released kit, so this section covers the beta kit only.
Builds a Stage Gauge for Huge Hits
Freya is a Fire Great Sword attacker with a unique gauge that rises in stages. You raise it with Basic Attack and Skill 2, and the higher the stage, the stronger the Skill 3 move and the charged attacks that follow it, such as Charged Slash.
Strong as Both Main and Sub
Freya isn't just a strong attacker. Freya is a Disruptor adventurer, and Freya's Ultimate puts the monster in suppression and knocks it down, so Freya also works well as a sub.
More Versatile Than Midori
Compared with Midori, Freya is better as a sub and more versatile overall, which makes Freya a strong pick. If you can't decide whether to pull Midori, saving your pulls for Freya is also an option.
Point! The banners for the second half of Season 0 will likely be announced while Midori's banner is still running, so if you're unsure, wait for that announcement.
Great Together With Midori
Midori and Freya are both Fire, so using them together triggers elemental resonance. Both also benefit from the Fire damage boost of the SR adventurer Ryunosuke, so having both is a big boost for a Fire team.
