Universal Insight Tickets are a daily currency in Monster Hunter Outlanders that you trade for Insight points on the adventurers you own. You get 10 a day, and one adventurer's Insight item costs 10 tickets. Here is where to get them, how many you need for each Insight, and who to spend them on first. Info as of November 6, 2026.
What Are Universal Insight Tickets?

Universal Insight Tickets are spent at the Insight exchange in the shop's Exchange tab. There you trade them for an adventurer's own Insight item, and each Insight item you convert adds 1 Insight point to that adventurer. Insight points are the cost budget for equipping Insights, the passive buffs each adventurer can set, so more points let you equip more Insights at once.
The Fated Adventurer's Insights Are Not Exchanged
Tickets only buy Insight items for adventurers other than the Fated Adventurer. The Fated Adventurer has separate Insights for each weapon type, and its Insight items come from Trial Expedition rewards instead, in a box with one for every weapon type.
How to Get Universal Insight Tickets
Daily Adventure Request: 10 a Day

The only source is the Daily tab of Adventure Request. Reaching 120 daily Activity, the last milestone, gives 10 Universal Insight Tickets. That is just 70 a week, so missing a day costs you a lot. Clear the daily tasks every day without fail.
How Many Tickets You Need
| Insight cost | Insights per adventurer | Tickets | Days of dailies |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 points | 2 | 50 | 5 |
| 10 points | 2 | 100 | 10 |
| 30 points | 6 | 300 | 30 |
Each Insight has a cost of 5, 10, or 30 points, and every point takes one Insight item, or 10 tickets. A 30-point Insight alone can take up to 300 tickets, about 30 days of dailies. Duplicate pulls of the same adventurer also give Insight items, so use tickets to cover the points you're missing for the next Insight you want rather than spreading them thin.
What to Spend Universal Insight Tickets On First
Spend tickets on the adventurers you'll actually use. The recommended order is:
| Adventurer | Priority |
|---|---|
| SSR adventurers you play as | Top priority |
| Top-tier SSR adventurers you don't have yet | Worth saving for |
| SR adventurers | Later (duplicates are common) |
Your Main SSR Adventurer Comes First

Insights add combat buffs, so put tickets into the SSR adventurer you control yourself first. That's where extra Insights pay off the most in every hunt.
You Can Only Exchange for Adventurers You Own

The Insight exchange only lists adventurers you've recruited at least once. Before you exchange, check whether there's another adventurer you'd rather build, or one you plan to pull soon. Saving tickets until you get a top-tier SSR from the tier list is also a good option.
Leave SR Adventurers for Later
SR adventurers come up as duplicates more often than SSRs, so their Insight points fill up naturally. Investing in SSRs raises your damage more, so put SR Insight exchanges at the bottom of the list.
