Trial Expedition Rewards
The main rewards from the Trial Expedition are:
- Insights for the Fated Adventurer
- Engraved Gems
- Esoteric Tomes on Certain Stages
- A Title for Clearing Stage 150
Insights for the Fated Adventurer

Each stage gives one Insight box for the Fated Adventurer the first time you clear it. The box contains Insights for every weapon type, the materials for ascending the Fated Adventurer. The Fated Adventurer can use any weapon, so these Insights are worth collecting every day.
Engraved Gems

Clearing stages also gives Engraved Gems. You spend them on Engraving, which you need to strengthen an adventurer's Ultimate, Core Passive and skills.
Esoteric Tomes on Certain Stages

Stages 60 and 120 give an Esoteric Tome, which unlocks a meal recipe.
A Title for Clearing Stage 150

Clearing stage 150 gives a special title. Titles are shown above your character, so it shows how far you have pushed the Trial Expedition.
What Is the Trial Expedition?

The Trial Expedition has two parts: the Path of Expedition, with 150 stages you clear in order, and the Path of Trials. Each stage gives rewards only the first time you clear it. The stages get harder as you go, so keep training your adventurers.
The Trial Expedition unlocks with the Chapter 2 story quest "Trial Expedition".
Clear Stage 41 to Open the Path of Trials

Clearing stage 41 of the Path of Expedition opens the Path of Trials. It has 5 elements (water, fire, ice, thunder and dragon) with 10 stages each. The monsters are stronger than on the Path of Expedition, but you get the Engraved Gem of each element in bulk.
Your Training Counts
You take on the Trial Expedition with everything you have built up, including your adventurers' training and meals.
Skip Stages When Your Hunting Power Is High Enough
If your hunting power is above a stage's recommended power, you can skip the fight and still get the rewards. Only the hunting power of the adventurer you control counts, so you don't need to raise your whole party.
Expedition Permits and Weekly Reset
Stages 21–125 of the Path of Expedition need an Expedition Permit. Expedition Permits refill by 3 every day at 05:00, and you can hold up to 6.
Permits stop refilling once you hold 6, so use them every day. There is no other way to get them: you can't buy them or trade for them in a shop.
Claim Rewards Again with Weekly Reset Rewards
Weekly Reset Rewards let you claim the rewards of the stages you have cleared once more each week. You need a Reset Permit, and you get 1 every Monday at 05:00. Use it at the end of the week, after you have cleared as many stages as you can, to get the most out of it.
Clearing the stages of each element in the Path of Trials raises the reset reward multiplier, so you get more from every reset. Push the Path of Trials once it opens.
Tips and Team Building
The stage screen shows the monster's weakness. Bring adventurers with that element.
When you can't beat a stage, raise your hunting power before trying again: level up and ascend your adventurers and upgrade their gear. For how to build a party, see the guides below.
