Season 0 started with the game's launch on October 29, 2026 and ends on December 25, 2026. The season screen shows a countdown to the end of the season.
How Seasons Work
A season is a limited-time period with its own boss monster. During a season you take on season events, craft Apex Weapons that are only available that season, and trade coins in the Season Shop for season-limited layered armor and other rewards.
How to Unlock Seasons
Seasons unlock in Chapter 3 of the main story with the quest Complete the Season Goals!. The goal is to clear the first stage of Monster Challenge and earn season currency.
New Monsters in Season 0
Ruger Aidal Is Confirmed
Ruger Aidal is the Season 0 boss. It is named in the event descriptions and appears in the season movie and on the season screen. It is the target of the Apex Challenge, which gives materials for Apex Weapons.
Kushala Daora and Nergigante Are Likely
The other new monsters have not been announced. However, the Season Shop sells Visage: Kushala Daora and Visage: Nergigante next to Visage: Ruger Aidal, so Kushala Daora and Nergigante are likely to arrive this season too.

Tap the new monster button on the season screen to see how many new monsters are coming and when. The monsters themselves are hidden: the first slot shows only ?? and runs from November 7, 2026 to December 25, 2026.

Monster Challenge
Monster Challenge is a weekly challenge that unlocks with the season. You hunt monsters back to back to clear it and earn Rutacoin, and faster clear times give extra coins, so aim for quick clears. You can earn up to 4,000 Radiant Coins per season here. Monster Challenge (Master) unlocks on November 3, 2026 after you clear the Normal stages, and its stages change every two weeks.
Apex Challenge
The Apex Challenge unlocks on November 7, 2026 once you have progressed 45 Story Quests since seasons unlocked. You hunt Ruger Aidal, the boss you also face in the main story, and clearing it gives materials for Apex Weapons.
Anonymous Request
Anonymous Request is a season quest that unlocks on November 7, 2026 under the same condition. It keeps giving Radiant Coin, and it can also drop season-limited layered armor. In the first half of Season 0, buy an Anonymous Request Letter in the Season Shop and clear its quest for a chance at a piece of the season's layered armor set.
??? Event
An event shown only as ??? unlocks on November 13, 2026. Its card says you challenge powerful monsters for Radiant Coin and upgrade materials, and it also gives Apex Weapon materials.
Apex Weapons
Use materials from the Apex Challenge and Anonymous Request to craft Apex Weapons, which are limited to the season. Some of their skill bonuses are marked as working only in Season 0.
Season Shop
Spend the coins from Monster Challenge and Anonymous Request in the Season Shop on season-limited layered armor or a Featured Contract. In Season 0, a Featured Contract costs 100 coins (up to 10), and each layered armor piece costs 400 coins.
